Adorable Portland getaway on the Eastern Promenade

Lovely third-floor apartment on the East End, just steps from the glorious Eastern Promenade! Cozy and cute, this adorable spot resides in the neighborhood which boasts some of the best restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops in the city all within walking distance. On a quiet residential street, there is plenty of on-street parking. Downtown and the Old Port are about a 15-minute walk from the house.
Adjacent to the living room is a private deck. The kitchen and living room areas have a nice open floor plan with a skylight to let in lots of natural light. The cozy bedroom offers a peaceful view of the tree-lined street.
** Please note that the last few steps leading up to the apartment on the third floor are quite steep. **

Nice little getaway apartment

We stayed at this rental for just one night and it was perfect! The location was great for us, an easy uber ride to the old port area. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and parks nearby. We had an amazing brunch at the Front Room, which was an easy walk from the rental. The rental itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We are Mainers but live about an hour from Portland so this was a perfect one night getaway. We’ll def stay again!

A night in my college city

What a cute VERY well kept one bedroom apartment. It was the perfect quiet spot for me to get some work and homework done before mettinf friends for dinner. The location is walking distance away from anything you wish to do or eat in Portland, and the VIEW is breathtaking. From the subtle ambiance the hosts took the time to make just right to the cleanliness of the overall space, you will not find a better fit for a one or two person location. It was just what I needed and imagined for my one night away. I returned home refreshed and the space had a lot to do with that.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The apartment was close to area eateries, breweries, wineries and beaches/parks. We were passing through for one night on our way to Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy space

Cozy apartment. Was clean and comfortable Great view of Portland Harbor. Stairs are quite steep which makes trying to bring up luggage a bit of a challenge. Parking is on the street.

Great Space and Location

We arrived for a short trip and picked the location for the walkability of the area. 25 minute walk to the Casco Bay Ferry Lines. This gave us a fun afternoon to travel to Peaks Island to explore. We got to eat dinner at The Olive a tasty Lebanese restaurant on the way back to our place. Close to walking paths with great views. Be ready to climb to the third story in this walk up space. Well worth the climb!

Comfortable, great location

The apartment felt like home from the moment we arrived. The location was fantastic, everything we wanted to do was about 5 minutes away. The stairs up to the 3rd floor are narrow, but structurally sound. We had a great time and would recommend this location to anyone wanting to visit Portland Maine!

Charming Attic Unit

Not only is this unit adorable and comfortable, Jennifer and her crew went above and beyond with hospitality and grace. The location was fabulous with easy walking access to downtown, Congress street and the waterfront walking/biking path.

Wonderful apartment

Wonderful location for nearby workshop

I was staying in the area for a workshop, and this was the ideal location! The stairs were steep as described, but I planned ahead and brought a small suitcase with additional clothing stored in my car.

Cute house in a great location

The house is very cute with an amazing little porch, and the location was great. Walking distance to anything you need. Only wish we had planned to stay longer in Portland. The last batch of stairs are very steep as mentioned in the description with no landing at the top but ultimately it is a small issue for an otherwise wonderful stay.

Wonderful place!

The apartment exceeded expectations. It is spacious yet cozy, comfortable, very well organized, spotlessly clean, with so much attention to detail and really nice touches that the host provided, including snacks! The neighborhood is quiet and charming, and walking distance to just about everything. Communication with the host Jennifer was seamless. Five stars!

Great location, walkable to everything

We really enjoyed our stay. This little third floor walk up was a perfect place for my husband and I to explore Portland. It is homey and comfortable and spotless. If you have any issues with mobility you should look elsewhere, but that is disclosed in the listing. The last set of stairs are very steep, but we found it charming. I highly recommend this rental. Well done!

Convenient location to Old Port pretty easy walk. Comfortable space for a couple nights. Stairs are no joke. Parking easy. Grab a light bag for the stairs.

Cozy spot in a great spot in town!

We loved our stay here as we had a friends wedding for the weekend. Apartment was clean and had an awesome view out on the balcony. Jennifer was very communicative and helpful with how to get in the house and the apartment itself on the third floor. The apartment is walkable to many coffee shops and breweries near by so it’s very advantageous for a weekend stay. Will definitely be returning to this apartment for another weekend stay! Jared

Homey, third floor hideaway!

This is from Terrie and Terri, we recently had the pleasure of spending three days in this lovely space. The apartment is conveniently located and an easy walk to two neighborhood markets and a short drive to several eateries. The interior is very homey and the neighborhood is incredibly quiet. it was a joy to come home from a busy day downtown and just relax with a glass of wine on the private deck with a squirrels eye view. The stairs are challenging with luggage, but worth it!

A place that felt like home!

I booked this apartment for a few days while my kid was at camp. I wanted something relaxing and quiet, but not too far from things. The apartment could not have been cuter! It was spotless! And the natural light was amazing! The host had thought of everything and it felt more like staying at a friend’s place! I was able to walk to breweries, coffee shops, and amazing restaurants! The next time I’m in Portland, I hope it’s available again!
