We loved staying at this property! Fred, the host, is wonderful. He is very pleasant and communicative. The property is great for pets too. I will definitely rent again on our next trip up there.
This is the 3rd or 4th time we’ve stayed with Fred in Aloha/Beaverton. We are always welcomed and treated like family. We stay here when we come to visit our family in Oregon. This small cottage has everything we need and is close to everywhere we need to go while visiting. Thank you for your continued hospitality!
Great place if you’re out and about a lot. The bathroom is a tight setup for a bigger person so just watch out for that. Best thing about it is the food trucks next door. Theres no washer or dryer but there’s laundromats right across the street
We have stayed here before and have always been treated like family. We have kids and grandkids in Beaverton, and when we come to visit, this cozy cottage is close to everything we get together to experience around town. It’s become our home away from home in the Pacific Northwest! Thank you for fantastic hospitality!😁

The hosts answered my questions promptly. The house was stocked with the bare minimum. Only a few small spoons (I have kids) but five or so giant soup spoons. Enough knives and forks. Almost no cooking pots/pans, baking dishes and other kitchen necessities. I was hoping to cook a meal while we were there. We stayed in December. There was not an extra blanket to be found. Only one blanket on each bed. The house itself was adequate. We only stayed for two nights.
The owners of this location are hands down some of the best people I have interacted with on a business level. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. Their communication was better than I expected! I will be staying here again and I recommend you do too!

Oregon visit to my dream job.
I was going to rent a hotel room and didn’t want to stay there so when I got a hold of the manager of this Vrbo property, they were able to move my check in date up to that very day and I didn’t have to stay at the hotel with my family. I was very happy for the accommodation and got really good sleep.
Fred was really accommodating and easy to communicate with.

Our girls get away
We did loose power and the owner thought it was due to having to many heaters running however that was not the issue. It was resolved immediately. The pro’s is that this establishment is close to food trucks and local stores. It is very clean.
The cons however are that the beds sit very low. To low. I had an older person with us that struggled a bit. Also, it says it sleeps six but you get charged per person after the first guest. The price per night is great but all the additional charges is not worth it for this place. I have stayed directly on the beach and paid less. However if money isn’t a factor and you don’t care your right off a Hwy and want to be in town this would be the place.
Fred was an excellent host, friendly and very quick to respond with my message. His place was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great for us. It’s 5 minutes drive to grandma’s house. Would definitely stay here again.
Food trucks nearby, a bit of traffic noise, comfortable beds. Clean nice unit some distance from downtown Portland. Great parks nearby. Definitely need a rental car. Uber from airport cost one of us $200.
We booked this for our last stay in Portland before going back to Germany. Fred and his wife were very understanding for our situation. Good communication, well equipped kitchen, only the bath is a little tiny (however it worked).
Thanks for hosting us.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The property was clean and cozy and the owners were very helpful. We didn’t expect the house to be so close to TV Hwy (2 blocks away) but didn’t notice the proximity once inside. There were a couple of parks nearby that were great for our son and dog.
The unit was very clean and exactly as they describe. Would definitely stay again when Visiting the area. The food trucks across the street were a great surprise.
Very comfortable, clean and cozy home. A welcome basket was greatly appreciated. Quiet area and easy to find. Kitchen was well equipped-best we have seen. Bedrooms were large and beds comfy. Would stay here again when in area.

Not what we were expecting!
This is a very nice and clean little place.
Pros: clean, centrally located to shopping and sights, nice neighborhood.
Cons: tight parking, cameras watching you at front & back doors, sirens day & night from ambulances behind property, charged for a service dog (reported to proper authorities), felt like a kid being reminded about house rules and check out time constantly, very tight parking even though there is plenty of room for multiple vehicles, second small garage rental just off the back door. Very small and tight bathroom.
Overall: We will never stay here again! Just not worth the price for no privacy, space, peace & quiet, or room!
We highly recommend this cute little oasis. We recently moved from Anchorage (AK) to Portland (OR) and needed temporary housing. This little house was perfect for the three of us plus our miniature schnauzer. The house was extremely clean and had plenty of room for the three of us. Our hosts were so accommodating and allowed us to park 2 cars in the driveway. They gave us recommendations on what areas to look for houses as well as schools. We highly recommend this cute little house.
We stayed here for two weeks while self-isolating after a move. The bungalow was cozy and well maintained. The five of us (my wife and I, our two young children, and our cat) didn't feel cramped at all in the space. We enjoyed the large number of nearby parks and the food-cart pod across the street from the listing.
