"The owner has personally built a superb shepherds hut escape . Hut was of the highest standard and thoroughly thought out . Shower was a delight , bed very comfortable. Kitchen well designed in a limited space . This hut has two comfortable chairs to relax in . Wood burning stove was not lite as property was so well insulated . Outside was so well designed, in the summer would be perfect . Close to A30 so some noise which for me was noticed as I live in the countryside without background...

"The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "

We loved sitting gazing out at the squirrels playing in the trees and were lucky enough to have them come up to the door and peer in. After leaving out almonds for them we had daily visits.Seagulls Rest was beautifully styled, it felt welcoming and cosy. Thank.you to Tina who was so helpful with our enquiries. "Really enjoyed our stay , not a complaint but I guess there could have been a conversation around the assigning of the rooms where the larger suite was given to a party of 1 and smaller to two . More about just how things are communicated . The place was amazing , loved its location and the facilities within the suites were ideal to be able to accommodate if deciding to cook our own meals ."

I would have been happy to give 5 stars but the meal at the hotel on the first night was appalling and the group did not eat there again. "We stayed in the Chapel Rock room with stunning views across the beach to St Michael’s Mount. With two chairs in the room, it was so relaxing to sit and watch the tide come in. The room had a very comfortable bed, fridge, tea and coffee facilities and a large shower room. We didn’t have dinner at the hotel but the freshly cooked breakfast was delicious. Breakfast serving staff were friendly and helpful. The area can be busy in peak season but you can still find quieter areas on the beach or walk along the coast path to one of the many coves."

The breakfast was wonderful, too - great variety of foods, fresh and local ingredients! We did enjoy the location - it’s a short walk to the beach in Carbis Bay and the perfect location for exploring surrounding areas. We would love to come back in the future."
