Top Porth China Hotel Reviews
Bluebells: Eco-Friendly 4-Bed Home with Sea Views in Llanfaelog | Managed by Anglesey Holiday Lettin
10/10 Excellent
"What an amazing place for a family get together. Such a sociable living space with plenty of room for 8 people and a couple of dogs. The upside down living was perfect especially with the balcony available for everyone to enjoy. The children loved running around the garden which is the perfect size for little games of football. All the bedrooms were spacious with 2 ensuite. The adults loved the sauna which was an extra treat at the end of the day. Such a great place to stay within walking distance of the beach. We would all recommend and definitely go again. Would have booked whilst we were there but couldn't get holiday confirmation from employers."
Freshwinds is a wonderful sea-side holiday home with breath taking sea views

"Great property and location, large enclosed garden was superb."
Ty Cwyfan: 3‑Bed Ground-Floor Apartment in Aberffraw | Managed by Anglesey Holiday Lettings
10/10 Excellent
"The apartment and location are brilliant. Beds are a bit uncomfortable because they are so hard. The sofas smelt of dog after a few days which was a bit off putting, otherwise this is a great place to stay and we love Aberffraw."
Bryn Bach: Romantic 1-Bed Cottage with Hot Tub in Llanfaelog | Managed by Anglesey Holiday Lettings
8/10 Good
"We had an enjoyable two night stay at Bryn Bach but that was more to do with where the little hideaway is situated as when we previously stayed here which was two years ago we found the place had deteriorated since then and the place was looking quite worn and tired. We got to stay on quite a good deal, but I wouldn’t have been happy if we had paid full price. The leather sofa looked extremely worn as all the padding had deteriorated in the cushions. The step to the outdoor area was coming away so it was slightly on a slant which I felt was quite dangerous. The outside was looking quite scruffy as the plants in the planters were looking like they were dying as nobody had been looking after them so we gave them a water and there were brambles coming on to the decked area from the surrounding fields as the fencing was old and they were coming through the cracks, and these brambles had large thorns on them so we cut these away as if you had knocked yourself on them they would have caused harm. The place is situated in a great area which is very peaceful and if you are into RAF Valley watching the fighter jets flying past this is a great place for that. The bed wasn’t the greatest either as whoever had done the bed before we had arrived hadn’t put the mattress protector on properly so there was bumps all over the place so the first night was very uncomfortable for the both of us until I pulled off all the sheets the next day and fixed the issue. The last time we stayed they had a different hot tub from than the Hikki tub and we preferred the other version as this Hikki tub seemed slimy like the wood had been wet for too long. The outside area is such a good space but due to it being quite neglected it wasn’t very appealing like it was the last time. We wouldn’t look to stay again as it just wasn’t as nice as the first time but if it was renovated we could have a change of heart as it really is situated in a lovely area. We would recommend Bryn Bach but only after the place has been updated."
Bwthyn Branwen: Accessible Pet-Friendly Cottage in Aberffraw | Managed by Anglesey Holiday Lettings
10/10 Excellent
"Couldn’t fault a thing except for the fact I am a disabled ambulatory person and sadly the downstairs bathroom was advertised as disabled, which it wasn’t. The cottage itself was heavenly in a lovely location in Anglesey but sadly we couldn’t return as the facilities were not there for my needs. I spoke to a lovely member of staff on the first day explaining my situation we agreed the wet room was indeed beautiful as the rest of the property, I explained my need for a transfer seat in the shower, bless her she did her best but came back and said sadly there was nothing available. Therefore my husband had to assist and we had to make do without a shower for the week for me as it was just too difficult without the adequate rails and seat. However we have to say apart from that we had a great time, the welcome package was a lovely touch, excellent value for money, impeccably clean and well kept and such a lovely spot in the village. We would have no hesitation in booking with this company again, but we would certainly phone to clarify my needs to suit a property in more detail in the future as the website to the reality was a lesson learned."
Y Stabl: 2‑Bed Cottage Sleeping 5 in Llanfaelog | Managed by Anglesey Holiday Lettings
8/10 Good
"We had another really good week at Y Stabl, where we’ve been coming to for a few years.. The location is excellent, nice and peaceful with great views and just a mile or so from Rhosneigr centre.. The cottage itself does need a little bit of work but I believe the owners are aware eg bathroom modernisation, new washing machine and perhaps a new sofa etc but it’d still decent enough.. For us it’s the location and the peace.. booked for next year already but next door at The Granary as it looks slightly more modern inside but both are great."
Melin Y Bont - a dog that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms
10/10 Excellent
"The windmill is a wonderful place to stay! Its location is a 3 minute drive to a local shop, and 5 minutes to a beach. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, only broken by the RAF jets chorus from around 8am until about 5.30, which I loved anyway. The beds were changed but the property wasn’t fully checked, the fridge & all crockery were filthy from the previous tenants, and food was left in the freezer (not the end of the world). Please note that the cleaning journal where you leave reviews has many pages ripped out…..Bring anti-slip shoes for the stairs, and ensure the fittest are in the top room, as even for me it was tiring - you cannot carry luggage upstairs so unload downstairs and carry clothes etc up instead. The internet wasn’t great, so keep in mind to pre-load programmes onto pads for children, also the kids channels aren’t accessible on the tv in the front room either. The decking around the base of the windmill is in a dangerous state sadly (I work in construction and civil engineering) with broken boards, chunks missing and exposed nails and screws - this needs addressing immediately! Replace with composite and it’ll hold its colour and last 30 years. If you visit PLEASE don’t let children or anyone over 12 stone walk around the decking, it is a huge drop below and I’m not exaggerating when I say it is THAT dangerous. The windmill has a nice plot of land to the front which is ideal for children to play, just remember there is a watercourse to the rear."
Large Detached Property Walking Distance To The Beach | Llywelyn-Fawr
10/10 Excellent
"This house is wonderful! It is large with lots of room and everything you could need. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. We really enjoyed walking into the town and eating at the cafe and having a drink at the pub. The people were very friendly and welcoming!"
The Granary : Cosy 2-Bed Cottage Between Sea & Mountains | Managed by Anglesey Holiday Lettings
10/10 Excellent
"The Granary is a lovely comfortable peaceful cottage overlooking farm land but within easy reach of shops beaches etc. The lovely private patio is ideal for those who like to relax in the sun and the cottage has every facility required to make your holiday a wonderful break. We will certainly be staying there again in the future."
