The Best in Port Townsend is The Belmont

The deck, the location, and everything we needed/desired was within feet of our room

Great location right in town and on the water

The view, the comfy bed, and the ability to open the doors and hear the waves lapping, the seagulls, and seals. Super cool historic building. The only reason I gave it four stars was the thin walls to the other room. The neighbors would loud for sometime but finally went to sleep then it was perfect with just the sound of nature and the ocean.

Room was clean but the loft was difficult to access - best for young legs! View was great from the deck. Also, the room was difficult to access with out an elevator with our workshop supplies that had to be carried up the steps.

Great spot

We enjoyed our stay very much. For us, this was expensive stay and I am not sure we found it worth the price. The room was spotless, bed was very comfortable and everything worked well with the exception of the door lock and it complicated the check in process. We figured it out though and it was a minor hitch. Fantastic location for seeing downtown Port Townsend.

No air conditioning in the suits

The property is very charming and clean however, there is no air conditioning on site. If you rented the water view room you share a balcony space with a small divider. The large fan in the room doesn’t sufficiently cool the space. During summer months it does get warm. When booking I didn’t realize the unit did not have a working air conditioner. The loft was way too warm for anyone to use. There is no elevator to the unit.

I guess this is strictly for lovers of the past. Smell is so strong that it's gonna follow you for the next at least. Had to keep the balcony doors open throughout the night as it was hot even with the fan constantly running. In my opinion doesn't worth the money.
