We are pet friendly !! Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located Villa. All you need to bring is swim suits, beach chairs and sand buckets ! Just minutes to the beaches, and walking distance to downtown
Vaulted ceilings and open floor plan. TV`s in every room, fully stocked kitchen complete with the blender and a Keurig for the morning after !
Open covered front and rear porch, complemented with a camp style BBQ grill in the completely fenced in back yard.

Wide open floor plan main living room with 46` TV, kitchen is fully stocked, complete with kitchen peninsula with bar stools, and a dining table for 4.
Each bedroom has its on TV and ceiling fans, one King bed and one Queen bed. Vaulted ceilings give the area a much bigger feel.

Guests have full access to the entire townhouse.

Quite neighborhood, easily walk to downtown, Villa backs up to the City walking track

easily walk or ride a bike to downtown area.
Dog friendly but please NO cats. Please pick up after your pet during your stay and prior to leaving. Pet waste bags are supplied and please discard in garbage receptacle outside.
Absolutely no smoking of any kind in the unit and this includes vaping; you may smoke outside.
Please be courtious to the other guests and pick up after Fido !
Quiet time is 10 pm to 7 am.

The Shrimp Shack is very convenient to the cute shops and good restaurants in Port St Joe. We really enjoyed our stay and our dog, Luna loved it too.Good walkability. Stocked very well!

Rooms were clean and the place smelled great. Tons of restaurants within walking distance and the back yard was amazing in the evening. There is a charcoal style grill in the back yard if you choose to grill out. Overall I would highly recommend staying.

We had a fantastic stay! The owner checked with us after arrival to make sure everything was good and that we knew how to get in touch if needed. Everything was clean, plenty of pots/pans/etc to cook with in the kitchen for our holiday stay, and comfy beds. It is located close to downtown, which was perfect. They supplied dog bowls, toys, shampoo, and bags. The yard is fenced, which is great for the pups. Do note that the yard is shared with the other half of the duplex, but we had no problems with that. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

Great home base

Wonderful little duplex, we enjoyed having access to a washer and dryer. Very close to shopping and dining in Port St Joe. It is a duplex so your backyard area is shared and you might hear your neighbors from time to time, but this wasn't an issue for us.

Quiet and Homey!

My partner and I loved staying at the Shrimp Shack! Richard & Ginger set up the place so kindly and really made us feel welcome. The amenities wete amazing, from the backyard to the washer/dryer on site. We loved that we could bring our fur baby without any worry. The neighborhood was quiet day and night. We would love to stay again sometime in the future!

Shrimp shack Christmas

The Shrimp Shack is a great place to stay and very pet friendly. Richard and Ginger have thought of everything right down to your pets. The fenced back yard has plenty of room for the dogs to run and play. Close to shops, restaurants and grocery store. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and you can easily walk your dogs. We had a great stay and highly recommend a stay there

The Perfect Getaway!

We had the to perfect stay in PSJ! The Shrimp Shack is in the perfect location. Richard provided wonderful information on restaurants, beaches, things to do. We brought our dog and our golf cart. We took our golf cart to dinner every night in downtown PSJ! The Shrimp Shack has every thing that you need for The Perfect Getaway! We will definitely be back!

Shrimp Shack is awesome.

Great place to stay in the little paradise known as Port St. Joe. House was clean and well maintained. Everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Hosts Richard and Ginger communicated very well, listed all the restaurants and all the other things you need to know about the town. Big plus you can bring your fur baby, as seniors that is extremely important. The duplex is located by the Port City Trail, great place to walk or ride your bike.

Clean & Inviting

Probably the cheapest place to stay in St. Joe for an amazing experience. The shack was so clean and welcoming, we immediately felt at home. We didn’t bring a pet however it was very pet friendly with the gated back yard and milkbones in a cookie jar. The bed is a little firm but the pillows and bedding are comfortable. We had everything we needed for dinners and the location was beautiful. We walked along Reid Avenue on Halloween and it was such a blast! Definitely worth the money and more, we had an amazing time. Thanks to Ginger and Richard our stay was like home away from home.❤️

Clean, comfortable, and convenient!

There is so much to love about this rental! First of all, parking at the front door and only having a few steps to deal with is a big plus. The villa was extremely clean, well decorated, and homey. The bed (we only used the king bedroom) was comfy. The shower had great water pressure. The kitchen was very well equipped. It's a dog owner's paradise: large fenced back yard, dog bowls available, and poop bags provided. We spent more time inside than we had planned due to the winter storm that swept through. The heat works great! We really enjoyed visiting Port St. Joe's for the first time. Lots of great restaurants! The owners were in frequent communication due to the impending bad weather and were friendly and accommodating. We hope to visit again in better weather and would definitely rent here again. There is nothing to improve on!
