Boat launch 2 minute drive. Also, Close for a nice walk to all activities and restaurants downtown and to the Historic Cape San Blas Lighthouse. Lots of music events, and every other Saturday is the farmers market.
Enjoy several area beaches and majestic sunsets. St Joe beach, Windmark Beach, Mexico Beach, Cape San Blas beach and Indian Pass. Short drive to Rish Park with a nice pool and handicap accessible and Saint Joseph Penisula State Park. Also a great place to go walk and see wild life is at The Stump Hole on the Cape. Enjoy the Beach or hike and watch for all the majestic birds and wildlife that call this area home, including several bald eagles.
We love , love dogs. We have 4. So bring your furry best friends along, just remember on a leash. ( We provide 2 leashes if you forget). All beaches are within 6-8 miles and are dog friendly to leashed dogs, except Mexico Beach, Rish Park and St Joe Preserve. Several downtown restaurants have outside seating so your furry friend can come too.
Also visit the Constitution Convention museum to find out the history on our beautiful town. Or visit the Forgotten Coast Sea Turtle Center to learn about turtle nesting and rehab. You can also adopt your new best friend at the St Joe Humane Society. And Historic Appalachcola is a 25 minute drive as well. Enjoy a ghost tour to learn more about this old city. Enjoy a slower pace of life here, you will never want to leave. We first visited years ago, and now make this wonderful place our home.
