"This was our fourth time at this property since 2001, and it is still first rate. New family ownership a couple years ago has led to upgrades in several areas (glass cabins, spa, sauna). The location on the Rogue is great with a sweeping view of the river to the south. The restaurant is superb, though options are somewhat limited and pricey. There are kayaks and other toys available. You can get picked up at their dock for a jet boat excursion up the river. Gold Beach is 15 minutes or less away and there are great coastal spots to visit in close proximity."

"This amazing home is located off the beaten track but overlooks the beautiful Elk River. We came in July and couldn’t ask for better weather. We went charter boat fishing and hiking but mostly, we relaxed at this home away from home. Ariel, the host, lived nearby and catered to all of our needs. She thoughtfully provided all kinds of toiletries and pantry items as well as fresh flowers from her garden. The bedrooms, bathrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Cooking in their gourmet kitchen was a dream. Would definitely book a return stay if we can make it happen! Thanks again Ariel!"

"Overall, we really liked this rental. It was spotlessly clean, although we did find a number of maintenance issues that need to be addressed like a leak under the kitchen sink, a slow drain, partially rotted door sill. We loved the location in a quiet neighborhood. The view from upstairs was lovely, and we sat upstairs every evening to take in the view and enjoy our wine. We found the beds to be very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again."
