Sportsman's Paradise Lodge in Port Mansfield

  • Our prices have not gone up and will not go up. The rest of the world seems to have gone a little inflation crazy. We will continue to offer an affordable fun family getaway that does not break the budget. This newly renovated home affords spectacular views of the Laguna Madre and the Bird Sanctuary. The water's edge is only steps away. This beautiful home is complete with a full kitchen, two bedrooms with queen and full beds, two full bathrooms and plush comfortable couches and recliners to relax in after a day on the water.

    Numerous free ranging white-tailed deer roam throughout the town with many feeding and lounging about in our yard.

Perfect place for a vacation. Beautiful view of the bay with awesome sunrises. Lots of deer to watch and close to the marina for boat launch. We have stayed multiple times and will do so again.

My husband and I come to Port Mansfield at least once a year to fish. We have stayed here several times and have enjoyed it every time. This trip we included a couple of friends and we all had a blast. Amazing views, clean property, and all the basic necessities are provided. Will definitely be back!

My husband and I stay at this property every time we are in Port Mansfield and we always enjoy it. We actually refer to it as our home away from home. The view is amazing and we love sitting on the back patio at the end of a long fishing day. The house is always clean and the owner is extremely courteous. We already have our next stay booked at this property in July!

The house was very neat and clean, full of supplies. My only complaint was that there were no futons in the bedrooms as indicated in the ad so I ended up sleeping on the couch. Other than that, it was a cozy place.

Way over priced

There was something dead, and the smell was overwhelming downstairs underneath the home and junk lying around. Linens are good and kitchen is well stocked it would be helpful to have a Keurig. Showerhead needs to be replaced in the single stall shower. Lots of water and floor damage. There was no picture of the exterior of the home in the listing. The water view and deer were wonderful. The overall condition of the home was very rough. I overpaid considering the condition of the home. For that price plus all the fees, the value was terrible.
