"Didn't hear from host till I called 11:30 a.m. the day of arrival. I had emailed a couple days before as I hadn't heard anything, no response. Called about 11:30 a.m. and left a message. Got a return call about 1 p.m. The house was nice, but furniture and amenities I would rate as "tired" There was a decent amount of kitchen furnishings, but lacked basic things. There were no trash bags except the one in the garbage can. The house was cleaned, but wasn't "clean" . The second bedrooms sheets appeared to have not been changed since the last people were there. Under the furniture and beds hadn't been cleaned. I found 2 pairs of reading glasses, a 5 dollar bill, and various other things as well as food. There are no lights by the stairs outside, which make a definite trip hazard with the steps being painted dark brown. The fishing dock has many boards that the screws or nails have rusted away and the boards are loose. A few are not attached any more. There were various screws and nails laying around in the driveway and patio. I picked up at least 15 in the driveway."
