"A wonderful, spacious cottage on a peaceful lake. Mike’s lodge was the perfect place for our long weekend getaway for our group of 13. Plenty of places to stay, hang out, and enjoy. The pool table, Golden Tee game, kayaks and floats made it so we always had something to do, and the facilities allowed us to easily cater for our group. Mike the host was so friendly, helpful and responsive, he ensured we got quick answers to all our questions. Would highly recommend this lodge for any large group!"

"To write about all the positives from our stay is to exceed the character limit of this review, so here are the standouts:• Kim's communication: At every point throughout the entire process (and during the stay itself), Kim's speediness and helpfulness was incredibly impressive and made us feel like we were in great hands the entire time. It made a massive difference and really showed how much care she puts into renting out this stunning property. Thank you so much for everything, Kim• Cleanliness: for such an expansive property, everything was wonderfully clean and well taken care of. Upon arrival, we truly felt like we were excitedly fitting ourselves into a clean slate rather than into the state that previous guests left the cottage.• Equipment: I know other guests have commented, but it really is incredibly impressive how much the cottage comes equipped with. The massive stock pot and slow cooker were nice surprises, among all the other items. There was heaps of cupboard space in the kitchen.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. But, it wasn't perfect. A few spaces for improvement"

"This place is exactly as described and I’m not surprised it has so many other good reviews. Everything was clear and easy. We spent a lot of time on the dock watching beavers take down branches and swim them to their home, baby birds taking their first flights from their nest, and the cottage was surrounded in fireflies at night. It felt very magical. I didn’t realize ahead of time that WIFI and cell signal might be an issue, but I really liked being mostly unreachable. The shower had the best water pressure and heat of any cottage I’ve stayed in, especially with two people going one after the other. Really great heater. We will definitely book again, hopefully for longer next time."
