The Hyatt is close to UMMC North. I had an early appointment there. Instead of getting up at the crack of dawn we booked a room for the day before. Checked in, rested and went to an excellent local diner (Eat's Diner). The Mushroom Swiss Burger was so good. Came back to our room and watched TV and had an early night. The noise level due to the proximity to interstate 55 was way off scale for me (I'm a country girl) but it is what it is. I could have no food or liquid for 6 hours before my appointment but I did accompany my husband down to breakfast. He really enjoyed it. I got a banana and saved it for after my appointment. The guest rooms need a bit of overhauling but all in all we were pleased with our stay and the price.
