"This is an old rooming house that has seen better days, say around 1910. Perhaps it is better in summer when one can have windows open, but the apartment stank of mildew. The electricity is on a meter and one must put coins in to keep it going. In winter they grant a base of a few pounds of electricity per day, but this seems a very out of date system. Finally, the shower did not function. This rooming house was just about the only option for those wishing for a room in Port Erin at the time of my visit, but it is not a very satisfactory option. "

"Fantastic stay, room atrium room - felt like in the middle of a forest with a waterfall - very relaxing - staff could not do enough, real good breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back xxx"

"We enjoyed our visit to Arandale. It was well worth the steep walk up Broadway from the promenade. I loved the Manx kippers and poached egg at breakfast, a must for visitors to the Isle of Man."
