Christmas by the Sea
Great location, nice deck with sea views, comfortable beds, kitchen and pantry well equipped, home had a great layout for overnight guests, clean and comfortable, owner was quick to respond to queries (much appreciated). Nil bath, nil grassed area in back yard which would have been great for younger grandkids. All in all though we had a great time with family and friends and would definitely recommend.

We recently got married round the corner at horseshoe bay and needed a place that was suitable for my 18 month old and my parents in law, it was great having three bathrooms on both levels as it allowed everyone to have space - it had everything we needed to host a pre wedding bbq and post and it was very child friendly with stair gates which was super important for our toddler and it was cool to sleep in the hot weather. Our host Tanya was really responsive and quick on messages - we made some beautiful memories in the house with our family xxxx

A stunning coastal home.
We’ve been coming to Southerlea for the last five years. It’s a beautifully appointed home with views that are unsurpassed. Everything has been thought of - right down to baby safety gates. All linen is supplied and you don’t need to spend an hour making up beds when you arrive! Pets have been catered for - a genuine advantage for such a stunning home. The location is superb with a multitude of coastal walks at your doorstep and the Main Street of Port Elliot (hosting the best pub on the South Coast) is minutes away. That said, this is one of those homes where simply staying in and enjoying the panoramic views feels like a holiday in itself. Tanya is a wonderful host and communication is excellent. A place to build memories.

Great stay!
My partner and I stayed here for a long weekend. The house was perfect for us (and our dog) and was close to everything. Was really comfortable and well equipped. We'll definately stay again, can easily accomodate larger familys too, plenty of space.

Fabulous week unwinding
Excellent location, set up and amenities for us to settle in and enjoy! Plenty of cooking utensils and serving bowls and platters and a great big dining table for us all to get around and enjoy dinner together and still enough room for the jigsaw puzzle at the end of the table! Beds were really comfortable with enough linen, blankets and towels for us. Tks, we’ll be back!

Brilliant family holiday
A secure, clean and spacious home to enjoy with your family. We had two babies and felt felt much at home with the secure gates blocking the stairs, child seat and portacot. There’s plenty of space to loung around and a good view of the ocean, albeit it is a couple of streets away from the house.

Lovely home away from home.
Southerlea is positioned in a beautiful location in Port Elliot with easy access to Victor Harbour and Goolwa. The house was clean and homely, with a well equipped kitchen and ample linen. The backyard was also full fenced and secure for our dog. Thank you for such a lovely getaway. Highly Recommended.

Fantastic house with everything you could need
This is a fantastic house in a great location with beautiful views. We were pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the house was too - linen, standard kitchen supplies and bathroom products as well as books and games. All this and we could have our dogs there! We'll definitely be back.

A lot of space for extended family to stay, we loved that linen was provided and everything we needed to get started. Definitely would stay again. The two living areas were good to please everyone! The weather wasn’t warm enough for us to use the outside spaces but the views from the upstairs indoor living area were just as good. Steep walk down to the beach. Playground not too far on Rosetta Terrace for kids.

Lovely property, well set out & well equipped for a relaxing stay. Having all linen provided was a great help. The views are gorgeous and the location excellent, only a short walk to all Pt Elliot amenities and a stones throw from the beach. Perfection!
Enjoyed the most wonderful few days at this gorgeous house. The location is stunning with views from coast to coast. Watching the sun rise over Port Elliot is a gorgeous way to start the day. Easy walk to The Strand. Wonderful for families, or groups of friends. Plenty of room for all. Everything is thought of from linen to well stocked pantry. Clean, comfortable and so relaxing - we will be back!
