"Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had, the coffee bar was top tier and the free lemon water, candy and dog treats just topped it off. The staff was great and anything I needed they were happy to help. This hotel was clean smelled great and you could tell they take pride and go above and beyond. "

"So the Staff was very friendly! Room was clean but no water pressure and bathroom shower area was in need of some repairs. The wash machine worked but no dryer, we had to pay to go to a laundromat, we also could not use the printer as it was not working either. So we had to pay to go to staples and use their computer and printer. So i ranked hood because room was clean staff was friendly, otherwise it would of been ok due to the lack of working amenities "

"My room smelled a little funky each time I entered. Not Smokey or moldy, maybe stale is the best I could describe it. I would stay again. Great rates, nice staff. Good location for what I needed for work. Safe area. Breakfast was decent for being free. Cereal, pancakes, juice."

"Let me start out by saying the host for this property was great. Accomadated most of our requests and went above and beyond. The property itself was clean, well-stocked, and spacious. Our group loved the canal access and overall location.The downside (and sadly in our opinion a real deal-breaker) was the misinformation on the listing. The listing clearly states a hot tub and heated pool. Upon arrival we were all quite disappointed to discover the hot tub is not in fact a hot tub, but was tauted as a "soaking tub" per the info sheet on the fridge. Which means the tub is the same temperature as the pool. As far as the pool being heated, it certainly didn't feel that way. The listing states the temp the pool should reach as well. Not once in our whole stay did the pool reach that temperature. Unfortunately this made it much too cold for most of our group to swim or enjoy at all. We are from the north and used to cold waters and even the kiddos could only swim for small amounts of time. I did contact the host and even though he replied he would turn the heater up for us, the temp remained the same. As a parent this was really frustrating, especially considering the amount spent to rent this home. If the owner had been honest and had a sense of integrity they would update the listing to accurately reflect the situation. If we had known we would have chosen a different place to spend spring break.I hope this helps others decide if this house is right for them."

"We had a fantastic stay at the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Port Charlotte. Check-in via the app was super smooth, and the digital key worked great. The property was very clean. Our room was so comfortable, and the water view was worth the extra few dollars. We even got to see alligators mating! Plus, the breakfast was really good. We’d absolutely stay here again!"
