Seasonal. Waterfront pool home on barrier island called "Beauty on the Island" which is the perfect name for this very special island retreat. Wrap around screened lanai overlooking Kettle Harbor with large built in bar and comfortable patio furniture great for family/friend get-togethers. Huge great room with volume ceilings accented by stone fireplace. Updated, open kitchen with stainless steel appliances, breakfast bar. Located only a couple minutes from the Gulf of Mexico. Efficiency apartment on ground floor of home as well. Have you vacationed on the island before? Palm Island a.k.a. Don Pedro Island, is a barrier island 7 miles long between Sarasota and Ft. Myers on the Gulf coast with sugar-sand beaches, beautiful harbors and lagoons, great fishing and shelling only accessible by a short 10 minute car ferry or private boat. Our beaches are some of the most pristine and quiet in all of coastal Florida. There are no high rises blocking your Gulf views, unpaved sandy roads, and a relaxed "Old Florida" atmosphere. There is one restaurant called the Rum Bay that serves lunch and dinner. The car ferry runs continually from 6:30 am until 10:00 pm from Sunday through Thursday and until 11:00 pm Friday and 12:00 midnight Saturday. You drive your car onto the ferry and then directly to your vacation rental home. It's a very special place to vacation. We have kayak rentals and golf cart rentals for your use during your vacation. PLEASE RESPECT THAT THIS IS NOT A PET FRIENDLY PROPERTY. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE PERMITTED . There IS a charge to heat the pool due to island cost/Pool Heat Fee is $100.00/week. Please let us know you'd like it heated when you book!

Spacious home with both pool and dock made our family vacation perfect! Our check in process was perfect; super responsive property manager and very clean too! We rented a golf cart from Heather which added fun and easy transportation to the beach. We stay on Don Pedro regularly and especially loved the amenities of this home!

Island Relaxation

Fabulous large home with great views. Relaxing pool n spa as well as deck! Quick golf cart ride to beautiful beach. Wonderful place to go and totally relax!

Fabulous Family Stay!

The house was spacious and clean with a screened back deck that was where we spent great quality time! Property manager was responsive when needed a refill on the propane! Proximity to the beach was just right!

A beautiful, super comfortable, and well-equipped house. Everything is very easy to access. My only complaint is the cleanliness. There was a lot of dust under the furniture and on decorations.

Beautiful view

We enjoyed our stay at this open spacious house. The view was beautiful and palm island is one of our favorite places to visit. We loved spending time on the screened patio and dock. Future renters should know there is no true primary bedroom in this house. The main level bedrooms share a bath and the master bath is upstairs in the loft. The loft is very noisy and the bathroom doesn’t have a lock so every time someone opens a door to the outside the bathroom door comes open leaving anyone in the shower fully exposed.

Great location and enjoyed being on the private island. This house is huge with tons of amenities. The kitchen was stocked with everything anyone could need. Maintenance company was super responsive. The pool is beautiful and a huge plus.
