Absolutely perfect!!
Check in and out process was super easy!! Home was exactly as described and VERY well stocked!! Although we didn’t walk to the beach, it’s easily doable! The host was very communicative and shared lots of helpful info about the community/shopping/etc. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again!!

It was my b-day and the Lord blessed me with a Texas slam and my biggest red ever (over slot with a safe release). As far as the house lol, it was nice and accommodating. NO HOST FEE!!! Direct contact with the owner very responsive and kind. Thank you Kathy!

AMAZING 60th Birthday Getaway!
We surprised my mother with a getaway for her 60th birthday and she absolutely LOVED it! The location, the atmosphere, the wildlife, and the house itself is very welcoming. It came outfitted more than enough linens, towels, dishes, and entertainment. The garage below also came with plenty of beach supplies (including a beach umbrella) and toys for kids! The porch had just the perfect outlook to see the ocean and enjoy the breeze. My family really enjoyed drinking our morning coffee listening to seagulls and enjoying the sunrise. We will be returning :)

Our peace and Tranquility Stay
Second time to stay Father’s Day weekend from Friday and left on Monday. Quiet, comfortable place to relax and then go down and enjoy the beach. All the people encountered in the neighborhood and beach were so kind and friendly. This beach is much quieter and less crowded that the Crystal Beach area. Hope to come again next year uf not before.

Lovely Stay!
Really enjoyed this peaceful and quiet property convenient for all things birding during migration on Bolivar Pennisula! Master bedroom bed was really comfortable and the garden tub a welcome relaxation after a long day walking. Kitchen large and well appointed and all the extras in the pantry a welcome surprise! Made it very convenient for cooking our own meals! Was overall a wonderful stay!

1st Beach House MiniVacay!!
I didn’t know what to expect going into a beach house- I literally brought my entire house for a weekend stay lol.. However, we walked into this house and everything was cleaned, fresh sheets, everything worked, KITCHEN WAS GREAT!!! COZY AND SPACIOUS FOR FAMILY OF 5! My kids enjoyed every minute being there! We walked to the beach, 5 minute walk. We set up with no problem, very quiet and peaceful as it says! WE WILL BE RETURNING FOR SURE! Thank you for the hospitality!

My family had a great time at the property. They had just about everything you might need from kitchen items to plenty of towels and sheets. Great view of the beach from the porch and it’s only a short walk to the beach. The owners were very helpful through out the stay. I look forward to coming back!

True Peace & Tranquility
Fist of all, the owners are extremely nice and quick to respond to any questions. Their house is beautiful, cozy, and nicely appointed with everything a family needs to be comfortable and have fun indoors and out. Although the home is a 2 bedroom, it will sleep a lot of people, however, the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on during a vacation is in the main suite. The beds in the second bedroom and living room are futons which was great for the kidos. Our favorite spot was the deck with views to the ocean and plenty of seating and lounging. The street is quiet with beach access and little traffic, and the neighbors are fantastic. I can't wait to book this again and make this an annual trip.

It is a nice place to stay. There were 5 adults, 5 yr old, 10 yr old, one high school graduate. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and the kitchen window at the sink gave a pleasant view while watching the birds outside. The kids and a few of the adults enjoyed the TV at night. Two of the smaller kids both wanted the top bunk and the high school graduate got first choice of one. That left the other for the kid ready for bed first. So much fun. The directions to care for everything was easy to understand and supplies were plentiful to clean after the stay. The kitchen table was a nice place to have meals together, and the picnic table outside was a good place for an outdoor meal. The walk to the beach was about 4 minutes. Wonderful place to walk down and see the best sunrises. The outside Table and chairs were a good place for dominoes and just enjoying the view. Even being the seventh house from the beach, you could still see a view of the beach. The place was like its name, Peaceful and Tranquil. Prices were reasonable too.

This was the perfect home for our family vacation. The house was very accommodating for our family of 5. It was clean, well furnished and stocked with everything you would need. The rental process was very smooth. The kids are already asking if we can go back next year!! We would definitely rent again.

PEACE AND TOTAL TRANQUILITY
Words cannot describe how happy we were during our stay, Mrs Graves is an incredible hostess, great location (we wanted peace and quiet) during our weekend for Topless Day , far from all the noise, but close enough to do what we wanted, you could walk to the beach, or drive down to the center of the island, we loved everything about it , we for sure will rent the house again and again. Great house, perfect location!
This house was great! It is 1/2 block to the beach. You can see the water from the deck. It has everything you need to buy groceries and eat at the house, if that is what you want. The deck is huge! The beds are all super comfortable, even the futons!! I would rent this house again in a heartbeat. :)

Enjoyed our stay here so much. The cabin was in a great peaceful location. Such a quick walk to the beach, I will definitely rent this cabin again. Prices were fair, the owner was so friendly and very helpful our entire stay. Plus what can I say this place will always have a special place in my heart because I was proposed to on the top deck at 01/01/22 at 12am. I SAID YES!!! The beach is a short walk from the house. Galveston is a ferry ride away. In December, our wait times varied from 5 minutes to 45 minutes. Several restaurants are nearby in Crystal Beach. House is very nice and well equipped.

I rented this property for my father and me and our 2 pups. It was in a great location - a block from the beach - and had ocean views from the deck, which was a great place to have a cocktail and read a book. The yard was well maintained - in fact they mowed it the day we arrived. Couple of things I would fix - two lights out in kitchen, bedroom remote held together with tape and remotes don't work, secondary bathroom slow to drain. However, these things were very minor and did not impact the trip at all. Be sure you know how to use a ROKU TV for the main living area. Fully stocked kitchen. Access to the washer and dryer was great as some places don't offer this. Host sent a great list of suggestions for shopping, dining, and beachcombing. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Great place close to beach
The place could have been cleaner, but in all fairness to the owner, she advised me before arrival that her cleaning lady was out of town caring for an ailing family member and the renter before me would be cleaning. While all dishes and laundry were done, dishes were left in dishwasher and linens were left in dryer. There was a large amount of sand and dog hair on all the floors. Other than that, the home was nicely stocked with all you need from dishes and linens to vceaning supplies, trash bags, etc... We left the home cleaner than we found it. I would rent this location again.
