I text the owner on my way & he responded immediately with the code for the front door. When we got to the property, the first thing I did was go up to get the AC going. The floor is soft and sags in front of the upstairs restroom. The floors had a lot of sand on it and the sofa was covered in dog hair. When I sat on it, it was also sandy. We had to keep a blanket on it. The downstairs shower looked like it had sand in it. I cleaned it, but Friday morning it had sand in it again. This turned out to be sewer backing up in the shower. The toilet downstairs would not flush. The owner did say a plumber was called, but couldn’t be there until 4:00 on the day we were leaving. I have 2 disabled vets in my immediate family, 1 is confined to a wheelchair. They both could not stay because we couldn’t get them upstairs. This property was rented by another family member 2 years ago and the upstairs floor was sagging at that time too. A lot of maintenance is needed.
