The staff was excellent. The homeless man getting free juice at night and sleeping by the dumpster was sketchy. There were burned out barbecue pits outside our room. The room was very clean.

The ice storm caused me to seek refuge. Our pipes burst at home. It was relaxing and when I checked in, the Young lady at the desk explained all the comforts, breakfast ànd all emmenities. I will refer to all in need.

Great place to stay!
I was really impressed on how spacious the room was, and all of the nice features and amenities that came with the room as well a pullout sofa, couch, and ottoman a small table that acted as a dinner table for my family whenever we ate, and the room was very clean, very well lit And just had a really good vibe and the location was prime. It was surrounded by pretty much any food option you wanted shopping options were there and it was quick access to any of that I would highly recommend this location. My only real issue was that our room while awesome was Directly across from the highway so it was fairly loud but nothing some earplugs or AirPods can’t fix again not really ideal but hey, that’s really not a knock on the hotel. That was just the way the cookie crumbled as far as high noise and position of the room but what I do it again oh yeah, that will definitely be the place I stay if I ever go back to Port Arthur.

Very Good Hotel!!
Very clean and inviting property. Well maintained. Room was spotless as was restroom. Bed was very comfortable with good linens. Great night sleep. Very quiet property. Breakfast was ok, arrive at a half hour before closing, items were out (Hot items) and not replenished. Had cereal and coffee. Pet Peeve- only non-dairy creamer available. No Half & Half.

It was a nice hotel in a great location! My only complaints are the Keurig machine was broken and the guy told me someone would bring one Saturday morning. I left Saturday morning and when I returned it hadn’t been replaced so I called again and the young lady said they didn’t know where the housekeepers kept the extra ones. There were some noisy people staying upstairs that the office seemed to not be able to control which caused others not to sleep well Saturday night

Comfortable Stay Good Value
This was a nice hotel. The room was comfortable as was the bed. The bathroom was small which probably explains why there are a lot of scratches/paint damage on the door. The kitchen was a nice surprise. Staff was friendly enough…the young man on duty more so than the young lady. She seemed focused on something on her cell phone. The food was average for a chain hotel but the chocolate chip cupcakes were very good. They served breakfasts starting at 5 AM which is earlier than most hotels.

Nasty room, had trouble turning off the malfunction alarm on the microwave. Beeped for hours. Lots of smoking and drinking if you like that sort of thing. Smelly room

The room was exceptionally clean. A full kitchen was a very nice added touch if you were staying for an extended period. Free breakfast was included. Yum biscuits and gravy!

The property was clean and quiet. The people staying there were nice. I loved the kitchenette that was fully stocked with dishes and cookware. The complimentary breakfast was both hot and cold. Just about anything you could ask for. Definitely a bargain for the price!!

Second Time To Fail
I am not one to leave bad reviews. However, this is the second time I have reserved a king-size room from this particular hotel. The first time, we were sent to our room without any explanation. We did not receive a king-size room. This time, upon arrival the clerk look at us and smiling said, "Well, we were oversold on our king-size bedrooms, but I was able to upgrade your room to two beds." How is that an upgrade? I want what I reserved. I had reserved this room ten days ahead of time. It is not my fault they oversold. My husband is over six foot tall and unable to sleep in a queen bed. I specifically reserve a king size so that we are both comfortable. I refused the two bed room. My reservation was supposed to be cancelled with no charge. I will wait to see. I will never book with this hotel again.

Things do change daily if not every other hour at our property, and the best thing we can do is accommodate a guest with a room and not have to cancel their reservation(s) and send them on a hotel hunt when we cannot honor their room type. I hate that you do not wish to give us another chance; however, if we can suggest you give one of our sister properties a try when in the area, those will be Hawthorn by Wyndham and La Quinta by Wyndham, which sits next door to us and offer the same room types but more, since we are smaller than them and only offer two room types. This hotel is in very good shape. Clean, spacious, comfortable room. Breakfast had pancakes instead of waffles. My room had a full kitchen.
