This cozy modern farm style retreat has exceptionally beautiful views of The Olympics, The Strait of Juan De Fuca, Mount Baker, and Canada. Relax in the backyard private hot tub! A short walk to fantastic restaurants, a coffee shop and neighborhood markets makes this centrally located home ideal for families, professionals or groups of friends looking to explore all the Peninsula has to offer. Queen size air mattress can be set up in the living room.

This house is the upper unit on an up/down duplex. Whole house bookings available! Lower Unit is called "West Nine Retreat" Please check my profile for other listings.
The house is a short walk to two excellent restaurants, 929 Woodfire Grill and Sabai Thai. Get your morning coffee or visit one of the neighborhood markets to get food, drinks and other necessities. Located a few blocks away is Shane Park where you can find a tennis court, baseball fields, a basketball court and a large playground.

Cute house in a good location with a nice view. Disappointed with inaccurate amenity description. A second bathroom and breakfast included were part of the listing. Both of which factored into my decision to book the accommodation which was priced on the higher side When I booked, the price was on the higher side but I took into account the fact that the property advertised two bathrooms and breakfast included. I contacted the property manager and she said they would adjust description as the booking only included one bathroom. I was told that breakfast was included. It was explained to me that breakfast was dry pancake mix and dry oats. By no means did I think

What a little dream this home is! The views out the window of the mountains and the sound are amazing. The home was clean, inviting and had several touches that made our stay perfect. We didn’t not want to leave! We would stay again if in the area.

Was a wonderful “base camp” for exploring Olympic Peninsula, with all the comforts of a lovely home. Next to Hurricane Ridge, overlooking the Port. Well equipped kitchen, cute patio with fire pit.

We really enjoyed our 4 days stay while hiking Olympic National Park. Andrea is a great host. The house provided everything you need and the little details and extra cares the host provided made the stay extra comforting. Will definite recommend friends and families if they visited Olympic National Park.

Stayed for three nights with my teen son and dog. Very quiet neighborhood, walking distance to some great restaurants and a little coffee shop and quick drive to downtown and easy drive to Olympic National Park. We were there over Fourth of July weekend and also had perfect view from front window of fireworks show!

We spent 3 nights here as we explored the northern part of Olympic National park. It was just a few minute drive to the entrance leading to Hurricane Ridge which was super convenient! It was also a short drive to Lake Crescent. We were close to the restaurants and coffee shops in town. The house was beautiful! Everything was super clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The views were incredible from every window! There were lots of thoughtful things the host included, like chocolates by the bed, a bottle of wine, etc. We wished we had stayed longer!

My girlfriends and I had an incredible time in Port Angeles. Staying at West Nine was the best choice we could have made for our trip. Our host was so kind, and was always available to answer any questions that we had. The beds were comfortable, the house was spotless, and we were minutes away from shopping, food, and the water! So pleased with every aspect of our stay! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!

Andrea has such a beautiful home that has such a comfortable feel. We travel every summer with our grandchildren, and the four of us wanted to move in full time. The house was perfectly decorated inside and out - it reminded me of house renovations I watch on HGTV. Andrea answered our questions quickly and was so hospitable. She even left wine and snacks for us to enjoy during our stay. The star of the house is definitely the views - incredible water and mountain views! I would definitely recommend this house to my family and friends.

Great little property and makes a great home base for touring the Olympic peninsula. We were able to hike all day and then come back and cook a nice dinner. Great access to local restaurants. Love McPhee’s grocery store for hard to find cooking items. Clean property and we didn’t want for much. Andrea adds nice little touches to make you feel cozy!

We stayed here during our trip to Olympic National Park. First of all, the home is beautiful, very clean, and has every amenity you can think up. The couch is very comfortable for naps and lounging! The view, as promised, is breathtaking. I very highly recommend this place if you are exploring the north and eastern parts of the peninsula. We used it as our home base for the western parts of the park too— a lot of driving, but totally doable. Port Angeles is a really cute town. The downtown is about 40 minutes away walking, or a quick drive. Lots of cool shops and some great restaurants. Speaking of restaurants, there is a Thai restaurant down the street from the Vrbo that is GREAT. A+, would stay again, and hopefully someday we will be able to :)

The owners of this home took great care to provide every convenience for renters and ensure that we had a great stay! For example when we arrived we found a handwritten note from the owners next to a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. In the bathroom and unopened toothbrush was provided in case renters had forgotten theirs at home. Cabinets and lights were hopefully labeled, and a binder had been assembled with directions for how to use TV, heating unit, appliances etc., in addition to providing several fires and menus for local restaurants around town. My family and I love to cook, especially when we go on vacation, so I love that care was taken to provide spices, oil, sugar and even a few condiments, in case some ingredient had been left behind. The house itself was clean, Comfortably furnished, and came with plenty of added comforts such as extra throw blankets and linens. I would definitely stay at this location again!

This place was amazing. We wanted to do something special for our 44th anniversary and this really fir the bill. The house itself is impeccably decorated and includes everything you could possibly need. It was sparkling clean, too. The views from the house are incredible; the strait and the mountains clear and ever-present. As far as location, it is perfect for exploring the Olympic peninsula. Port Angeles is a charming town and the surrounding area is full of things to do. The host is responsive and delightful to work with also. This was probably the best rental we have had with VRBO.
