Family time

The property was perfect for us and so many nice touches by the property owner. Everything worked out great. The view is amazing. Bald eagles flying around us. Easy access to Olympic. It was great. But if you have trouble with stairs this property might be difficult.

Amazing stay

The house has the most amazing views and is an easy walk 15 mins to the town. The house was so well set up and had everything you could want and more. The host was absolutely amazing and quick to respond . When we had some trouble with getting there they were so flexible and allowed us to have a late checkout. Overall an amazing experience and would definitely return.

Perfect size for our family.

The place was beautiful and we had all the necessities plus some extras. It was just the right size for my husband and I and our 3 grown children and their partners as well as our two grandchildren. The only drawback was a lot of stairs to get to the bedrooms which was tough on my arthritic hips.

Great house and amazing views

I stayed here along with my partner, our 2yo, and my in-laws and the place was perfect for a short getaway. Wonderful views and a cozy (and interesting) layout provided plenty of space for all of us. Kitchen was well stocked, place was clean, and using the garage for our two cars was a nice bonus. The location is wonderful - overlooking the strait and sitting almost atop the waterline and Olympic Discovery Trail, you are a short walk/run away from the trail and less than a mile from downtown Port Angeles. Would definitely stay again.

Good stay

Listing met expectations. Our group of 7 was satisfied with our stay. Plenty of space and the views are very nice. The only issues were the lack of curtains in the lower level bedrooms which allowed the morning sun to pour into the room. Also, the dishwasher was inoperable during our stay.

Great views and great location!

Family vacation to explore Olympic National Park. We enjoyed to proximity to the Park, downtown Port Angeles, the ocean, and the Olympic Discovery Trail. The abundance of stairs in the house worthy of noting and could pose a difficult for some. Lights above sink and stove need to be replaced. Really enjoyed watching the cruise ships, ferry, and other vessels from the living area! Great house!

Good Fit for Family Gathering

This house suited our family very well for a meaningful family gathering. It is very large with lots of different living and sleeping spaces, and was clean and welcoming when we arrived. Unfortunately we were really looking forward to using the fireplace (listed in the advertisement, and one of the reasons we selected this property) after a cold, rainy day outdoors, and we were disappointed to learn after arriving that it was not available for guest use. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay!

Excellent stay

The property was immaculate. The views were absolutely stunning. We even saw a bald eagle soar past the windows. It was a pleasure coming back from our hikes to this beautiful home away from home. We stayed for 4 nights. We were 6 adults and we never felt cramped. Jessica was really prompt with communication. The kitchen and pantry were very well stocked. Jessica and Tuan have thought of every little amenity you could need. We highly recommend this place.

Nice stay in Port Angeles

We had a nice time at this home as our base of exploration for Olympic National Park. The house was easy to access and comfortable. Gorgeous deck right on the bay on which we enjoyed morning coffee and watching the resident marmot collect apples from the tree in the yard. View was unparalleled. House was obviously older but common spaces were updated nicely. No major complaints but beds were not very comfortable and we did not appreciate having to collect our trash and linens before departure. Otherwise, an excellent stay.

Great house, location, and experience

We can't say enough good things about this place. It's got a great view of Bellingham, Mt. Baker, and the ships coming and going in the harbor. It's a 5 minutes walk through a park to the Olympic Discovery Trail which takes you right into downtown or about as far along the Olympic Peninsula as you want to go. And it's a perfect set up for two families to share, with great common spaces to hang out but also separate sleeping areas to give you privacy. The property manager was responsive and helpful and offered us a late check out which was so thoughtful. We will definitely be coming here again and would highly recommend it.

A waterfront getaway for the whole family.

This home has a great location on the waterfront with multiple rooms having spectacular views. There are plenty of separate spaces for family members who want some privacy, with a large great room area for gatherings. There are nice outdoor spaces as well, although we did not use them since we were there in the winter. The hosts are very communicative and provide lots of thoughtful amenities such as snacks, coffee, games, and even dog supplies. The house is a split-level, so there are numerous stairs to navigate , which could be a challenge for people or pets with limited mobility. Overall, this was a nice getaway for our family.

Scenic and tranquil

We had a wonderful time here with the kids and grandparents. There was something for everyone. The game room kept the kids entertained, and the adults enjoyed the scenic view and trails by the water. It is conveniently located so was able to walk to town and also take the ferry to Victoria. There was more than enough room for all 6 of us, and it was well equipped with anything we might need like blankets, umbrellas, scooters, etc. Would’ve liked blinds in the bedrooms to block out the light in the mornings but we got used to waking up to the beautiful sunrise. The checkin/checkout was easy and everyone had a relaxing time. Thanks!

Beautiful views, beautiful apartment, but ...

On the great side, the views are lovely, the apartment is immaculate, the place is beautiful, and there is a full kitchen. However, many windows did not open, which made the place quite warm and made the master bedroom unusable during our stay. Also, one of the bedrooms has no blinds or drapes, meaning the sun wakes you up at 4 AM. Finally, it should be noted, that while the location is peaceful and within walking distance to the town, it is also in front of a toxic waste site.

Interesting house with an awesome view.

This is a great house. It’s interesting because of the layout and all the stairs but it was a fun house to stay in. Just a heads up that there is no bathroom on the main level with the kitchen & living room. My group doesn’t have problems with stairs so it was no big deal for us. The dining room table fit my group of 7 adults for meals and games with plenty of elbow room. Great communication with the hosts. They were very accommodating and they offered and brought an extra table for us, incase we couldn’t all fit at the dining table. The location was great, we walked down to the path along the water to downtown. The views from the windows and balconies are awesome! It was nice to get to watch the ferries and ships. The only suggestion would be to put a narrow table for a night stand next to one of the beds downstairs. My friend had to charge her phone across the room on the dresser and would have loved to get to have it closer.

Wonderful views

The house has great views of the bay. We would sit and watch the water, sky and ships pass by in the evening. They upper decks were huge. The lower deck was narrow but still nice to sit and take in the view. The kitchen was well equipped, even with pancake mix and syrup. Lots of spices for cooking. We emjothe welcome basket of goodies and water. It was a nice touch. The bedrooms had comfortable beds. Extra pillows and blankets. Tower fans in each to help cool. Plenty of towels and nice toiletries were provided. The house is on quiet residential street. The drive into the town itself starts to look a bit sketchy. Several options for restaurants close by. A nice walking path below the house with access about mins walk away.Good location to explore Olympic Pennisula. We drove to Ruby Beach in just under 2 hours and stopped at spots along our way back. We were there for only 3 nights so squeezed in as much as we could, including the Auroa Borealis!

Excellent home with remarkable views

We rented this house for a family birthday and had an excellent time. Pluses: Very clean, great local contact and owner communications, the views!, dog friendly with a fenced yard, lots of space for family, location. We did a lot of cooking, but can recommend New Day Eatery on Front Street, the Kokopelli grill, and Buena Luz Bakery. The Olympic Discovery Trail is right below the house. Walk back to Victoria Street, take a left, and you'll end up at the 9/11 memorial with steps down to the trail. We saw the resident orca group twice from the windows during high tide. I don't think that happens often. We were lucky. I do have one quibble. We're cooks and the kitchen is in need of a stainless set of mixing bowls, more plates and serving dishes, and more bakeware. We were still able to cook and serve excellent meals. And the owner and local contact were so nice I'm sure they would have provided more if we'd asked. Still, one trip to a garage sale would provide a better cooking experience. That is just a quibble. We had an excellent family vacation and would stay there again.

Beautiful view in great location

Stayed here for 5 days with boys ages 14, 18, and 19 and everyone loved it. Situated in a cute, unassuming neighborhood, it’s a fun little house with rooms and sleeping nooks tucked here and there. More than enough room for all 5 of us. Has two TV rooms with nice clean seating arrangements. TVs are set up with streaming services so we enjoyed movies and shows at night. The view of Juan de Fuca strait is undersold in the photos. Wow! I couldn’t stop looking out at the water. My favorite things were to sit on the window seat reading and staring at the water, and sitting on the deck looking out at the water with morning coffee. There is no air conditioning, which was only a little uncomfortable one day as it was unusually hot. Would be nice if there was more seating for the deck outside and if main floor windows opened up for circulation. The house is close to the bike bath below. We bird-scootered around town to restaurants and shops and the wharf. We booked trips with Olympic Hiking Co. to hurricane ridge, hoh rain forest and Rialto beach - tho it’s not essential, our guide was awesome and I’d do it again. This house was a great launching point for all of this and Jessica and Mariah were super helpful from booking to checkout. I highly recommend.
