Comfortable with stunning views
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Chez Zigzag. It was clean and comfortable while offering spectacular views in all directions. It is located within a 5 min walking distance from downtown shops and restaurants. The kichen and bathroom were well stocked with basic items which simplified our stay. The hosts were helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Home away from home
We had a fantastic time at CZZ. The location is perfect for walking to the ferry to Victoria and restaurants/groceries. It is also only a few minutes drive to the entrance to Olympic National Park for Hurricane Ridge. The hosts have thought of everything, and were quick to respond to any questions. They had a pack and play for our infant as well as a high chair. Our toddler loved the “bubble” out front. All in all would highly recommend to anyone!

Perfect Port Angeles Getaway!
Chez Zig Zag did not disappoint! Adorable cottage with lots of amenities. We loved enjoying a cocktail in the dome and watching the sunset over the water after a long day of hiking in Olympic. Brent and Amy were very hospitable and had great recommendations! The chickens and free eggs were a pleasant bonus! Will definitely stay here again if I visit this area in the future

Stayed 4 nights while visiting family and for attending the Leo Yang performance at the Field and Arts Hall. Convenient location for walking to groceries, rental bikes and restaurants!! Clean, quiet, with great views!!

Wonderful, thoughtful, light and bright PA getway!
If you are looking for a place where you could walk to the ferry, a healthy market and the buzz of a small town, with fantastic mattresses, everything you could ask for in a compact kitchen, views out the living space to be zen to, a bright beautiful reno'd bath then look no further. It has a home feel. So be respectful guests and treat it like a queen because this place has a very sweet vibe and gracious hosts.

Dad & Daughter weekend
My dad and I enjoyed a comfortable weekend at the property. It was well equipped, even had fresh eggs, and the location was absolutely perfect, close to shopping, walking trails, Lake Crescent and Sequim. And what a view! Our favorite part was the enclosed bubble in the back yard, we had happy hour in there every night, it was warm and cozy and really unique. We’ll be back.

GIRLS TRIP
My best friend and I stayed here for 2 days for a quick girls weekend away. This was the perfect little place for us. It was cozy, very clean, and had great views. Super close to downtown, and we even hopped the ferry to Victoria for the day. We had farm fresh eggs for breakfast that the hosts generously left us. Communication was clear, and check-in/check-out was a breeze! Would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect spot for an Olympic Vacation
My mother and I spent a long weekend exploring Olympic with Port Angeles as our home base. The Zig Zag was a great size for us, allowing all the comforts of home with incredible views and a central location. Our hosts could not have been kinder or more accommodating. If we ever return to Port Angeles, we will DEFINITELY stay at Che Zig Zag again!

Perfect location
We could not have had a better place to stay during our visit to Olympic NP. The apartment was the perfect location and size, and had a nice view of the water. We returned our first day to find a carton of fresh eggs, compliments of the owner’s chickens. We especially enjoyed the heated floor in the bathroom and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Hope to return some day for another visit!

Relaxing by the fire
Don’t know where to start, perfect location, the view from windows beautiful. We came early and parked by place in the morning went down zigzag trail that lead right to board for our whale watching tour, when we came back time to check in. The outside sitting area was beautiful and we had everything ready waiting for us to light a fire in outside chimney. Managers always available for questions. Bonus we got fresh chicken eggs and the heated bathroom floor hit the spot. Not far to go hiking. Just perfect will be back for sure.

What an amazing find in Port Angeles! Chez ZigZag is close to town, has a gorgeous view of the bay and is clean and gorgeously decorated. The owners have thought of everything. There’s a binder with all the information you could need including restaurant reviews, a list of stores in towns and detailed information about the all sights to see in the area. We arrived to find chocolates on the beds, snacks in the kitchen, and fresh eggs in the refrigerator from the owners’ chickens. The bathroom floor is even heated. We couldn’t have found a better place to stay!

This apartment has an amazing water view, but the inside environment is just as beautiful. The Powells have done a thoughtful and artful job of making this a serene home away from home. Great location within walking distance to Port Angeles and a great jumping off point to Olympic National Park.

Perfect base camp for Olympic NP
Our stay at Chez Zig Zag was absolutely wonderful. The suite is the top floor of the house where our hosts Brent and Amy live and is very well setup. We loved the big windows looking out over the harbour! Brent and Amy were very proactive with communications and we would recommend their place to anyone headed to the area. Their place is only a short drive to the road where you head up to Hurricane Ridge.

Spectacular Spot
We stayed upstairs in Che Zig Zag. It decorated very nicely and has incredible views from the living room and kitchen. The place is immaculate and well decorated. The outdoor patio is to die for with a wood burning outdoor fireplace, chair swings, patio tables, and even a enclosed plastic dome if it gets cool at night. You can see up the strait of Juan de Fuca and town is below and a short walk. The only bad thing is once you are there you hate to leave to go explore. It's a great place to unwind. We'll be back!

Chez Zig Zag was the perfect spot for my daughter and I to come home to after a long day of hiking. Walking through the charming gate and into the beautiful garden - complete with chickens! - and having a chat with Brent or Amy before heading upstairs to the lovely 2nd floor of their home is why you choose to go VRBO over hotels, right? Expect a spotless rental but be thrilled to see touches like an umbrella by the door, soaps at every sink, a wonderfully equipped kitchen, cozy bedding and and stacks of fluffy towels waiting for you. We needed to run a load of laundry while there and Brent handed us a full bottle of detergent not realizing it had run out. Location is absolutely perfect but be ready to wrestle your luggage up a long flight of narrow steps (not an issue if you don’t pack your entire closet like we do) and take a lot of steps or zig zag ramp to get back to the property from the main district. That said, you can walk everywhere and enjoy a gorgeous view from this home. Thanks again Brent and Amy! Highly recommend!

Beautiful Surprise!!!
This was by far the highlight of all the places we stayed during our week long trip to the Pacific Northwest. The hosts were gracious, and had excellent communication prior to our arrival. The location was perfect with views of the water situated just above downtown with easy walking access to all the Port Angeles shops and restaurants. The property was impeccably maintained and adorned like a 5 star hotel. The property's outdoor patios and fireplace were our private oasis. This was also located ideally for day trips to Hurricane Ridge, the Lavender Farms in Sequim, and Marymere Falls at Lake Crescent. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this to anyone who was taking a trip to the area.
