Booked a King room 2 months before stay through Expedia. When I arrived, I checked in, dropped my bags off and went to get food before restaurants in the area closed and realized while there that I received the wrong room (a double Queen with stains on curtains and furniture, and loose toilet seat). Seemingly because I booked through Expedia my claim to a better quality room with a King bed was prioritized after others who booked after me. After multiple days of trying to get the situation rectified, I was told I would be atleast compensated for the room price difference, then spoke to the person at the desk the next day and was told I would not be compensated because on weekends the double queens go for more than kings which was not the case when I booked. Housekeeping also never cleaned the room. Overall I was not satisfied with my stay.
