Beds were very uncomfortable, too soft. Room was spacious but under utilized. There was a sitting area but no tv views from this space. The sitting room couch is stained and nasty looking. Microwave was on bottom shelf (not handy), we moved it to desk in order to use it. Refrigerator cabinet smells bad (why do we have to put fridges in a cabinet?, doors go wrong way, and the space gets hot, therefore fridge works twice as hard). Breakfast buffet was sparse...very disappointing. Not our best experience.

I loved this place and I didn’t think it was too far of a drive to do sightseeing in the town of Savannah. This hotel was much more affordable than being in the town of Savannah. It was in a great area with some great places to eat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When my conference was over in Savannah I rebooked this hotel to stay in for several more days. I would definitely go there again and I highly recommend it!

The bed looked like it had not been changed. There was no coffee maker in the room. There was mold under the window and in the bathroom. The hair dryer did not work. The staff was polite but someone, we were told it was the maintenance person, opened the door and never apologized or said a word. So I called the front desk. Would not recommend this property.

The good: Location is convenient to I-95. Staff at check-in were competent and pleasant. It has a pool and gym, which we did not use. There is a microwave and a small refrigerator with a freezer in each room. The not-so-good: The facility is run-down and dated, but mostly it smells musty and unpleasant. The breakfast area is small, choices limited and in short supply, and the hours available only go to 9:00. The rooms are dark with very poor quality lighting and a Spartan look. The bathtub overflow fixture had mold caked around it and the toilet paper holder was broken and unusable. There is no table and chairs to sit at to eat, the sofa bed is awkward to sit on comfortably with nowhere to sit a drink beside it. The bed linens were worn and picked. Bottom line: We would not stay there again, especially considering the cost.

Everything about this stay was a challenge. Emergency booking because of a five hour delay with air travel. Could not add a second occupant as my wife was driving from Florida to meet me at the airport. Called the hotel and they would add her name to the reservation. I finally arrive at almost 4AM and the desk clerk couldn’t be bothered to get off the phone to check me in. Waited 20 minutes to hang up. The room was an atrocity. Toilet didn’t flush. Bugs in the bathroom, curtains were broken. Elevator stopped two inches below the floor level. Wouldn’t recommend.

This property was absolutely disgusting. There were drunk and high people in the lobby and parking lot wandering around. The hotel itself smelled of weed and cigarettes. The facility was dirty. The front desk employee did not know how to check me in, she had to call her manager and even he seemed confused. She didn’t ask for my ID and she blurted personal information out for those in the lobby to hear. The elevator was unsafe. Someone was already in my room when I walked in and when I complained to the front desk they said they were not aware of anyone being in our room. We checked out immediately and will be requesting a full refund. This place does not match the description in any shape or form.

Our stay wasn’t to good. The room was sparse, there weren’t any hangers, pillows on the bed were flat, towels were very thin. The room was large but minimal furnishings. One lamp in the room, no clock and the lady at the desk tried to be helpful but missed it. We also couldn’t get Wi-Fi until another clerk came on duty hours later. Over all it was not a good hotel and we would not stay there again!

We have stayed here for 18 years, back the it was The Travel Lodge, it's our halfway point to Fl from Va. With the new ownership I was hesitant because the standards were already high. I ABSOLUTELY WAS PLEASED by the new changes and our stay to and from Fl was like coming home. The staff & rooms were even better. The breakfast was great and we almost stayed another night because we didn't want to leave. The beds are the most comfortable than any hotel we've ever stayed at. We couldn't have been happier!

The front desk clerk was friendly at check-in but the room was deplorable. The pillows were so old the filling was nothing but lumps, there were greasy hand prints on the head board, stains everywhere including on the window shade. The sink was cracked and the towels and facecloths were so filthy one was hesitant to use them.

Nice stay busy some issues
The room was clean and the woman who checked us in was very helpful. The only issues worth talking about was the mattress was not very comfortable. My back was pretty stiff in the morning.
