"The apartment was ok, but especially the rugs need a good cleaning. The last renter had not done a very good job cleaning utensils, glasses and dishes so first thing we did was wash everything in the dishwasher. The gas stovetop did not appear to be working, but as we were only there for 2 nights we did not bring this up with the owner, so there is likely a solution to that. The area is ok, a small convenience store and cafe below, and other amenities and cafes, restaurants in easy walking...

The photos were slightly misleading - the unit is a bit older, sparsely decorated, a bit noisy next door to a few restaurants and the shower nozzle height was strangely high. We would suggest if you are coming by train and looking to visit the main beach town, staying in a unit like this may be inconvenient."
