Beautiful, but impractical for us
The photos of this home are stunning but unfortunately, our stay was not as lovely. We are American so a few things we just didn't realize were not standard- the beds were doubles and there was no AC. What was supposed to be a romantic vacation turned into us sleeping in different rooms because we were hot & didn't have enough space. The house was well equipped for cooking - which we did but missing some other essentials. We were provided 2 towels that were small and felt like sandpaper for the whole stay. There was no hand soap in either bathroom, the dish soap was water & no laundry detergent (to at least wash the 2 towels we were provided). After reaching out on a Sunday (we checked in Saturday evening) the issue was fixed on Tuesday afternoon - I understand there was a holiday on Monday while we were there but at the end of the day this is a hospitality business and was disappointed in the delay. Before we arrived we were advised there was work being done and for that we would be comped a free night - I didn't ask any questions, so once again that is my fault, but come to find out the beautiful view we were paying for was now blocked by a huge crane & workers were there every morning and could see into our bedrooms, not allowing any privacy. If we were to come again we would not stay here. If if none of this would bother you it is a beautiful and well equipped home otherwise.
