We had such a wonderful stay at Casa Bella and truly enjoyed our time there. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the home was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Bella and Dave were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, and they went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable and had a great experience. We’re very grateful for their hospitality and would absolutely recommend Casa Bella to anyone visiting the area—we’d love to stay here again!

You absolutely must stay here when visiting Sao Miguel. The owners, Bella and Dave, were the most amazing hosts and we could not have been better taken care of for our stay. Everything is clean and organized, breakfast was perfect, and locations allows for an easy walk into the main city center, or to escape to other parts of the island. Thanks you so much for helping make our travel memories Dave and Bella!! You have created an environment that every traveler hopes for.

The perfect place to stay Super clean Everything is brand new and nice decor Wonderful breakfast offered every morning The hosts Bela and Dave very friendly and helpful with suggestions on where to go visit and where to eat out, they were the best hosts! The home is in a safe area and well secured with onsite parking and house access The atmosphere at breakfast was very friendly with other guests Very nice outdoor sitting areas Spacious rooms, comfy bed, pillows and nice linens and towels No complaints

Wonderful BnB experience

Bella and Dave have created a welcoming BnB in a great walkable part of Ponta Delgada. They were friendly with all the guests, were helpful to us is suggesting places to visit, and good a delicious breakfast every morning!

Truly a home away from home. Bela and Dave were fabulous hosts during our stay. Their quaint bed and breakfast is in a great location near wonderful restaurants and close to activities. The homemade breakfasts, made fresh every morning, were a great way to start the day. The rooms are clean, bright and cheery. The onsite parking was a huge perk due to the limited street parking in the city. We can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is. If you are planning a trip to the Azores, make sure you reserve a room here. Bela and Dave go above and beyond to offer travel advice or answer any questions or needs that arise. Such great conversation and laughs had by all.

Bella and Dave are fantastic hosts. The room was spacious and comfortable. The daily breakfast was very good and a highlight of our trip. The location is perfect. Excellent spot, kind and helpful staff that will give suggestions on where to go. Delicious hot breakfast alongside local cheeses and meats. Very clean rooms, great housekeeper, 15 min walk from downtown.highly recommended if you need a place to stay ! Free street parking / and there own garaged in lot if needed.

Absolutely loved our stay! The room was spacious, spotless and the bed was comfortable. From the moment we arrived Bella and Dave were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They even went out of their way to offer great recommendations. The breakfast exceeded expectations. Every meal was delicious. The location was perfect - just a short walk to major landmarks. Bela and Dave were exceptional hosts. They went above and beyond to make me comfortable. Dave made me omelets in the morning. Bela took me to a beautiful vista and tea factory on a rainy morning. It was magical to spend time with warm tea in a day like that and she offered to do this herself. The building is brand new, every detail is thought of. Its walkable to citi center and safe and quiet. I highly recommend it and will be back.

I LOVED this bed and breakfast. The hosts are on property every morning and make you the most delicious breakfast. The hospitality is unmatched! They gave us a bunch of great recommendations too. The property is very close to both the ocean and the pool. There’s a bunch of restaurants close by, a mini supermarket, and lots of stores on the water. A 20 minute walk is very easy here because the weather is incredible and everything is very accessible. There’s a pineapple plantation and a park with a playground right behind the property at the end of the block. It’s absolutely perfect!! Our room had views of both the ocean and the mountains. You could see the sun rise and the sunset.

Comfort, Convenience, and Warm Hospitality

Bella and Dave were outstanding hosts! Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast featuring local breads, cheese, and meats along with fresh coffee and juices, and a made-to-order hot dishes—ranging from perfectly scrambled eggs and crispy bacon to fresh, hot waffles. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable, medium-firm bed and supportive pillows. The bathroom was also well sized with an amzing showerhead! Bella and Dave made a point to connect with us every morning and offered a variety of thoughtful recommendations that enhanced our stay. Parking was available on site, which was a real bonus given that the city’s charming old streets were designed before cars were common. We often walked to the city center—it was an easy, flat 18-minute stroll. The neighborhood felt very safe, even when we walked to local restaurants for late dinners that ended as late as 11pm. Highly recommended!

Das Hotel ist noch relativ neu, wodurch alles einen sehr gepflegten und modernen Eindruck macht. Das Zimmer war sauber und ausreichend groß. Das Frühstück war sehr frisch, hausgemacht, abwechslungsreich und bot jeden Morgen wechselnde Specials wie Waffeln, Spiegeleier oder French Toast, die von den freundlichen Eigentümern zubereitet wurden. Das Parken eines Autos ist in der schmalen Einbahnstraße vorm Haus eingeschränkt möglich (nachmittags haben wir immer was freies bekommen), es besteht jedoch die Möglichkeit, von den Eigentümern eine Fernbedienung für das Tor zu erhalten, das zu einem kleinen Parkplatz hinter dem Haus führt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Mein Freund und ich waren im Mai für eine Woche im B&B Bellacasa bei Dave und Bella und können es von ganzem Herzen weiterempfehlen. Ein außerordentlich freundliches und warmherziges gastgeberfreundliches Paar. Auch wenn man in der Nacht anreist, erhält man einen Zugangscode und Schlüssel zum Zimmer, somit kein Problem. Ein paar kostenlose Parkplätze gibt es im Innenhof, alternativ in der Gasse vor dem Haus (auch kostenlos). Das Frühstücksbuffet war für uns ausreichend, inkl. regionaler Produkte und es gibt täglich frisch gekocht entweder Waffeln, French Toast, Eierspeise, Quiche, Ham&Eggs, Spiegelei, Toast etc. Dave und Bella geben einem gerne Tipps für Unternehmungen und erzählen von lokalen und kulturellen Besonderheiten - es hat uns immer eine Freude bereitet ihnen zuzuhören! Sie bemühen sich sehr um einen angenehmen Aufenthalt bei ihnen. Wenn man geräusch- und lichtempfindlich ist (wie ich leider) sollte man sich eventuell eine Schlafmaske und Ohropax mitnehmen, da es im Haus recht hellhörig ist, wobei es auch Ruhezeiten gibt, auf die man als Gast hingewiesen wird, um andere Gäste eben nicht zu stören. Alles in allem können wir Bellacasa sehr weiterempfehlen und würden auf jeden Fall noch einmal buchen!!

Una estancia excelente. Bela y Dave fueron muy amables y atentos. La habitación estaba nueva y con todas las comodidades. El desayuno estaba riquísimo y, además, lo preparaban con producto local. Recomiendo alojarse en este alojamiento si visitas la isla de Sao Miguel.
