HaT Ranch Lodge is located just east of Ponca City, and 30 minutes west of Pawhuska and Fairfax in Osage county OK. If you are on your way to or from the Pioneer Woman Mercantile, the HaT Ranch is the perfect location. You will drive through the heart of historic Osage ranch country (and right past the Drummond ranch) on your way to Pawhuska. Are you wanting to learn more about Osage history (as in the Killers of the Flower Moon book)? A stay at the HaT Ranch will give you a taste of what life on a Osage county ranch feels like.
Did I mention the lodge is just 7 miles from Kaw Lake?? This is a perfect retreat after a day of fishing or boating.
This is a spacious and elegant lodge with a western flair. The lodge was completely remodeled in 2018-19. There are 4-5 large bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 2 living areas, and a newly renovated kitchen and dining area.Two large porches facing east and west allow guests to enjoy the scenic ranch view all day. For those guests that want to experience the country life, but still want all the amenities of town, you'll be happy to know that the HaT Ranch Lodge is less than 10 miles from Ponca City, OK. (Be sure to check out the Marland Mansion in Ponca City while you are in town!) Bonus: the beautiful Osage Casino is just 6 miles down the road! If Mexican food is your thing, make sure to try Enrique's at the airport, or El Patio. Don't feel like going out? Guests can be entertained in our game room or enjoy a bonfire under the stars. We have 3 flat screen TV's. The lodge can accommodate a couple, a family, extended family, a girls weekend, bachelor party, wedding shower, reunion, work group, graduation party, etc. If you are looking for a clean, private, spacious home with ALL new appliances and bedding, AND views of beautiful Osage county, the HaT Ranch Lodge is for you!OK

Family Road Trip

We stayed at the ranch for several days during an extended family road trip. It was beautiful, peaceful, and so much fun! We all loved sitting outside on the stone patio to watch the steer graze. Our group had ages ranging from 25 to 85 and everyone loved the place. We made great use of the game room and set up games to play outside too. Truly a wonderful place to make memories together.

Amazing property and home

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The host were friendly and easy to work with. They went out of their way to help us when we needed them. The home is absolutely beautiful and large enough for a big family like ours. It was a great place to make great memories and will recommend to everyone.

Weekend trip

Nice peaceful stay not too far from town. Enjoyed the pool table, shuffleboard and Directtv was a nice surprise. Beds are nice but pretty firm. Curtains in bedroom could be a little more substantial to block that morning sun. Overall stay was very nice. Thank you for your hospitality

Family Trip

Once a year we meet halfway between TX and NE with family. This is our 3rd time we have stayed at Hat Ranch! This is the perfect place for us to meet up! We love this property! And the game room is our main hang out all weekend long!! This property has everything you will need for a great getaway!! We will definitely be back!

Great Place

This property was more then we could have imagined. It was a beautiful and quite place to stay and my adult children we excited when the cows would come around every morning and evening. The game room was well used during our trip and gave everyone something fun to enjoy during our stay. Think this is the only property we have been at where the tv was hardly used while we were there. Was nice to enjoy time together without that background noise. We would definitely stay here again when visiting with the whole bunch. If your looking for a place in Ponca City look no further.

Excellent location for groups

My husband and I stayed here with some of our extended family for the second time for a family reunion. The property is extremely well kept and maintained. It is spacious and comfortable, making it perfect for larger groups. Even with 5 kids running around we all had plenty of space to hang out and spend time together. The host is very attentive and easy to communicate with. I give this place top marks and would recommend it to anyone traveling to the area.

Family Reunion 2024

The property was amazing. There was so much to do inside the house and plenty of space to hang out outside. The kids ran around the adults enjoyed the pool table and the poker table… The kitchen was great for our family dinners. This is a great facility if you are planning to host a larger group! Cozy Get-a-Way

This lodge-style home is a perfect place for a group of people to stay. Beautiful and clean home. Very accommodating and had everything we needed for our stay. The game room is a fun place to hangout with lots to do. It is remote (about 15 min. to the nearest town) set on an active cattle farm. Once you turn off the highway, I recommend you have 4-wheel drive to get the mile drive back to the property if there is any mud and/or snow.

Lifelong Memories

We rented the Hat Ranch Lodge as my daughter was getting married at the Marland Mansion. The property is amazing. We had so much fun with the game room. Family members came from Kansas City, Orlando, Florida, San Antonio, and Oklahoma. It was a great place for us all to be together and create lasting memories!

Family Reunion

We had a great time! The garage game room was a hit with our college and high school boys. Pool, poker table, shuffle board, board games and a TV with football going. It was my parents 79th and 80th birthday. We relaxed on the porch and watched the Longhorn and their calves in the pasture along with wild turkeys. Everything we needed for cooking was in the kitchen. It was super clean and the checkin/check out was super easy.
