First off (and most importantly), the house is gorgeous. It's nestled in a semi-private woods and features amazing floor-to-ceiling views of Flathead Lake and surrounding mountains. The gigantic soaker tub, bonfire ring and fire table on the huge deck, stand-alone sauna, rain shower, fully-stocked kitchen and cozy loft (complete with shuffleboard table!) all make for a very luxurious stay. The decorations are modern and gorgeous, and the place was IMPRESSIVELY clean when we checked in. Don't worry -- there is also a bedroom "grotto" that stays dark and quiet, so if you are a light sleeper or just want privacy, you got it. Additionally, there are lots of marked trails through the woods if you need some time alone.
Further, communication with Jen was always quick and seamless, and everything was exactly as described -- no unpleasant surprises here.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you're looking for a cozy mountain vacation but don't like the ultra-rustic, log cabin, "moose and bear" decoration scheme, this is your place. It's classy and comfortable all at the same time.
