There is no phone to call, so you are at their mercy if you need something from them. "Clean. Good parking. I know I should have checked about handicap. I could not get in the bed. Tub had no bars. If you need these please request handicap"

"Check in was a breeze with wonderful customer service. The room was really nice. I almost felt like I was the first person to stay in the room. They had free valet parking and even had my car fully charged upon my departure. All of the machines are "new" which is something I have to get over, but the players area was a lot of fun and had a good vibe. Clean refreshing pool and APEX is close with Go-Karts and all kinds of fun stuff for the kiddos. I didn't try any of the restaurants, but got a pizza to take to my room and it hit the spot. I was traveling alone (woman) as a pit stop for one night, but felt super safe and had fun. Would return if the opportunity comes."

"The staff was very helpful. The room was very nice lots of room and it was clean. And for breakfast, they had a large selection and everything tasted great.Very cute small town. We had left like Tahoe and wanted a place to stay between there in San Francisco and Placerville was the perfect place."

"I just like to say that the staff for the breakfast was awesome. Very helpful to me. She went and got me ice, and then I had broken a fingernail and she went to look for some glue for me. Very nice. She was great. The only thing I could say is we did have mosquitoes in our room, but they didn’t bother us. I killed some of them, which is OK we just couldn’t open the sliding door because they came in through that overall it was great being there. Everyone was great."

"The room i was in was okay the floor was dirty like it hadn't been moped the bathroom was clean till you looked at mirror which was filthy and looked like it hadn't been cleaned. When I left the room to check out I stripped the bed to make sure there were no stains that they would try and blame on me, there were no stains. The only reason I choose to stay here is because they are the closest place to where I park my truck and they don't have a bad reputation like the hotel just up the street."

"The Peppertree Inn is an older property, however, it is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and Casey (met at check-in), was very helpful. There is an elevator so getting up to the higher floors was easy (there are 7 total). Checking out was convenient with a locked box on the outside of the office. Tahoe City is super nice with plenty of restaurants and shopping. Safeway grocery store is close by with a Starbucks coffee station inside. We had friends staying at Star Harbor so the Peppertree location was extremely convenient to make trips back and forth to their condo on the lake. We will consider staying there again if/when needed. Thank you."

"I’m a little spoiled when it comes to hotels—I typically stay in 3-star-and-above properties that cost $200+ per night. But the reviews were so impressive that I decided to give it a try, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The rooms were spotless, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location right on the river was beautiful. One of my favorite parts of the stay was relaxing by the pre-lit fire pits, listening to the river flow by under the stars. A wonderful experience, and I’d happily stay here again."
