A brilliant heritage apartment in the old centre

A stunning heritage apartment right in the midst of the old town yet in a quiet street. Dionosa was a wonderful host, very informative and helpful and delivered a delicious breakfast each morning. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The place was nice, a little dated, but very clean and comfortable. The staff, specially Maira and Angelica were lovely and very helpful.

This property is the full opposite to what is advertised. No staff in attendance for check in. Staff member casually arrived at 3:50pm to give us access to our accommodation. She was rude and very argumentative as we told her that we had been waiting in the scorching sun for 3 hours and she simply ignored us. We attempted to pay the city tax by card and she refused, saying “cash only” The room was dark and dingy with no windows to the outside air. The website to this B&B boasts a daily breakfast which we paid for but never received once during our stay!!! We were booked for 3 days/2 nights and only received 2 coffee pods for the whole stay. When we commented on the Expedia messages I was told I would have to wait till 9:30pm for her to deliver us some coffee. The room was not serviced once during our mid week stay which is also contrary to their website. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and this B&B is by far the worst experience that we ever had. Do yourself a favour and book any other establishment and stay well away from Dimora Dioniso…. Absolutely terrible experience at Dimora Dioniso. Avoid at all cost!!! Polignano a Mare is a beautiful place so please don’t let this property ruin your stay like they did us. The host is absolutely rude and completely lied to us, blaming Expedia for all the shortfalls. She also lied about not having our contact number but it was clearly stated on the booking form which she clutched tightly in her hands.
Dark room with no natural light or ventilation.
This photo was taken in the middle of the day and the room was totally dark.
The whole accommodation is a disaster. The front door was unlockable from the inside as the door handle kept falling off.
The town and beach are fantastic.
