Bella camera nel pieno centro storico di Polignano. In negativo la mancanza del wi-fi e il b&b non include la colazione come descritto e non è convenzionato con nessun bar per poterla fare.. peccato!!

The location was perfect, less than a 5 minute walk to the Centre. Free parking close by at the train station. I would recommend staying here for a short trip away.

Rekommenderar inte! Vi hade bokat ett rum med balkong på andra våningen, men fick ett rum i källaren. När vi kom dit var det inte städat, smutsiga sängkläder och ofräscht. Tjejen som visade oss till rummet var extremt otrevlig och försvann när vi ringde till hotels för att klaga. Vi fick inte något rum alls till slut utan fick boka ett nytt hotell.

Una vacanza tranquilla

Pienamente soddisfatti. Ma niente pulizie giornalieri o parcheggio incluso. L'aria condizionata ci ha salvato la vita. In zona bellissima ma tranquilla nonostante il centro a pochi metri. Colazione ampia in un bar in centro.

Insoddisfatto

Ho soggiornato con mia moglie per 2 notti in questa struttura e siamo rimasti insoddisfatti. La nostra camera aveva la serratura rotta e ci hanno detto che non hanno trovato nessuno per sistemarla e la porta comunicante con l'altra camera, nonostante la ragazza ci avesse detto che era chiusa, abbiamo constatato che era aperta! Ho chiamato il proprietario e almeno questa porta è stata chiusa a chiave. La doccia era intasata e l'acqua defluiva molto lentamente. L'acqua calda non era calda ma appena tiepida. Il bidet non è presente e la pulizia della camera era sommaria....sotto il letto abbiamo notato "residui" di un precedente cliente. La posizione invece è ottima, si raggiunge il centro a piedi in 5 minuti.

Where is everyone?

Email bounced back, had to call Expedia twice to finally reach owner/caretaker. Waited outside in 90-degree heat trying to call after confirming arrival time just hours in advance. Finally another guest helped us track down (three calls) someone to let us in. A few suggestions: light bulbs (5) burned out or missing, wine glass stuck to shelf, bath and shower floors dirty, shower valve to hand sprayer not functioning, water tank dripping, mold along base of shower glass, no A/C in bathroom.

Great location, nice owner, not very comfortable

The B&B was in a great location, very central to the old town. The owner was very nice and gave us a lovely bottle of wine on arrival. Unfortunately, we only noted after, that previous reviews had mentioned breakfast being delivered to the B&B. We were not given this option, but were told to go to a cafe 5 minutes walk away, which we didn't mind, but when we got there there was no breakfast (croissant or bread) left, and were just given coffee. Also, because of water restrictions in the area, there was not water (not even to wash hands or flush the toilet) for two of the mornings with no warning of this given. I also found the bed to be very hard. The location was great, the town is super cute, but I would probably not stay here again.

Good location, close to everthing. Our room wasn't one of those pictured ones with tiled walls and ceramics so I was a little bummed. Clean, spacious and comfortable. However, no designer toiletries or wifi as promised.

unique room close to everything

Upon arrival, we called the number listed outside the B&B (NB: there is no office); no one answered. After lunch, we came back and called again. This time, a very friendly gentleman met us within 3 minutes and showed us in. The room was located on the second floor with a balcony off the large bedroom. The bathroom is located on the third floor and has its own balcony. The balconies overlook the treetops of a quiet piazza. The B&B is located a few minutes walk to the old city. I would highly recommend this place.

Såg lovande ut men föll....

Vi fick ett gott intryck när vi checkade in. Andra kvällen meddelade vi att det var stopp i avloppet i duschen - mejlade direkt till värden. Dag 3 hade ingen städat eller fixat avloppet + att lampan i trappen (fönsterlöst) upp till vårt rum hade gått sönder - det var bäcksvart - sms till värden. Dag fyra ingen städning, inget fixat avlopp eller avlopp. Värden säger då att de inte städar varje dag - vi påpekar att vi köpt daglig städning! Värden säger också så att tekniker varit där men vi var i rummet - herregud det var utanför! Ring på dörren! Frukosten var typiskt italiensk - kaffe och en cornetto - vi fick fixa egen frukost sen. Gratis parkering - ett skämt - hitta din parkering på gatan om du kan! Positivt var läget och att rummet var annorlunda.

Perfect B&B in a great town

Fantastic, beautiful room with a balcony overlooking a square in this charming town. We loved our stay here, very nice neghborhood and near everything. The restaurant right next door (meat only - you pick it, they make it) was one of the best meals we had in Italy! (Get the bombette and little sausages over purée fave beans, amazing). Breakfast was arranged at a nearby cafe. The owner was kind and responsive and knew the town very well. This is a perfect place for a few days in Polignano

Lovely room and top notch design

The building was built in 1820s (so we were told), and the decor was fabulous. Only flaw is that the bathroom is upstairs. Though the stairs go up directly from the room, they are big, high steps so going to the bathroom in the middle of the night may need some attention! If that's not a problem for you, definitely recommend this b&b. The owner was super helpful, the location is central and the bed is very comfortable.

Appartamento in centro anche se in una via secondaria, piccolo ma molto carino e ben tenuto. Il signore che ci ha accolto è stato gentile e molto efficace. Purtroppo il wi fi non andava ma il resto tutto ok davvero.

Stannade 2 nätter på det mysigaste B&B vi någonsin varit på. Byggnaden var från 1817 där väggar och golv var i kalksten taget från havet och upputsade. Vi bodde i rummet längst upp, många trappsteg men det var det värt. Lägenheten var i etage med en balkong och en terass som vätte ut mot det lilla torget utanför. Max 10 min till den fina stranden och nära till restauranger. Vår värd var otroligt hjälpsam och kom med flera tips att se och göra både i Polignano men också i Puglia som stort. Skulle rekommendera alla B&B Lazzarella!
