"Great property and fantastic host "

"This is a beautiful property in a quiet village. Great for relaxing and spending time with family. The property is clean and very well presented as well as having all amenities that you might want. The pool, although not big is more than suitable for families with sun beds and loungers. The host was very attentive and answered any questions that we had promptly. Although the host spoke little English and I spoke very little French we managed to use google translate and the interaction was always...

"Great place to stay, lovely house, great location. Great configuration of rooms making it easy for 3 generations. Lovely pool and hot tub. Very private. Hosts very helpful. Few things to consider - air con only in lounge. One tea-towel for 5 people for 2 weeks is poor. Only one shelf in the oven (very disappointing) and had to go shopping when we arrived for baking trays for cooking. Iron - but no ironing board. "

"L’hôte était très sympathique et la communication parfaite, mais le logement n’était pas très propre à l’arrivée et la cuisine manquait d’accessoires de cuisine pour les repas d’une famille de 10 personnes (pas de saladier ni grand plat, une seule grille dans le four)."

"Maison très confortable et très bien équipée en plus d’être très jolie. Nous avons passé un très bon sejour"

"Perfect location and near to popular seaside resort. Ideal for all ages with a variety of amenities within the chateau. Hosts were very welcoming and contactable. Superb setting and idyllic pool perfect lace for families"

"Équipement vaisselle et couvert moyen."

"Thank you Jean Claude for a wonderful stay in your beautiful house! Charlotte , Kirsty, Matt, Milly, Poppy and me thoroughly enjoyed it! You were a fantastic host and thank you for your kind gifts. I would encourage anyone thinking of staying to go ahead and book it! Excellent facilities, very clean throughout. A short walk from Chinon. Best regards, Peter"

"Endroit parfait . Proche des commerces du centre. Très calme. Piscine très agréable. Maison extra pour toute une famille. Chambres et salles de bain spacieuses. Séjour cuisine très sympa."

"A beautiful well appointed villa nestled in the vineyards. Bordering St. Emilion, the location allows for easy visits to the greater Bordeaux wine region, while allowing a quiet escape to relax. After a day of touring and tasting, the lovely pool was a welcome break. Our hostess Élodie was gracious, helpful, and promptly replied to our requests for details and arrangements. Over the years we have experienced VRBO around the world, and this one earns our 5 stars."

"The property is perfect for 2 families, lots of space with the central exterior kitchen with bbq and plancha very well suited for long evenings of good food, wine and pleasure! The swimming pool and bubble bath are splendid as well! With Jean-Michel as the caretaker for all questions and a short chat in the morning to top it off."
