Location: The apartment was located in the quiet countryside. Even though it’s just off a main road, which leads to Queenscliff, you wouldn’t know it, as it’s that quiet! We didn’t expect, though, for the apartments to be located directly opposite a cemetery!
Cleanliness: The apartment was spotless when we arrived and everything was in working order!
Appliances: I tried to turn the washing machine on, but it wouldn’t turn on. I figured that it had been turned off to preserve energy, but I couldn’t find the switch. My boyfriend found it at the back of the cupboard, underneath the sink. There was no notice telling us where it was.
Kitchen: The kitchen was an adequate size and fully equipped. However, I expected there to be scissors and an oven mitt, but there was neither. A bonus, though, was that there was about 600ml of unopened milk in the fridge.
Bathroom: The bathroom was very roomy and the bathtub was awesome! There was room to spread out or to have two people sit (or lie down) comfortably in there! They provided a few items, such as little bottles of shampoo and conditioner, hand soap, shower gel, a hair dryer, towels and a bathmat. However, there was only one sanitary bag. Hardly adequate if a woman had her period, and it was heavy!
Lounge room: The fireplace gave a good amount of heat, and the two couches provided were really good and comfortable; you could sleep on those couches, if need be, and still have a good nights’ sleep!
Bedrooms: The bedrooms were great
