  • Nice and welcoming apartment on the ground floor of a villa, immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, from which you can admire a wonderful panorama and fantastic sunsets. Equipped with private and equipped outdoor area, the accommodation is carefully furnished and both from the living area and from the bedroom you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Tiber valley and Mount Soratte. Incredible views , beautiful pool .

This is a beautiful property, on the side of the mountain. You reach it via a twisting mountain road very narrow in places . Scenery is breathtaking, changing from scrub to dense forest. If you use the location on the HomeAway map for this property it literally takes you to the property. It is behind big black gates oh the right hand side . Although the apartment is underneath the owners villa it is as if you are on your own . The owner is so friendly, but never intrusive. The apartment is very clean , bathroom, kitchen / dining room/ living room and a good size bedroom. All traditionally decorated. The view from the bed agin is for hundreds of miles and there is a gravel are out side with tables an chairs . Lovely in the late evening as it’s out of the blazing sun but you can watch incredible sunsets! The swimming pool is absolutely spotless and beautifully maintained. It is at a higher level to the apartment accessible via a private path and a few steps . The pool has a very deep end and a good length so you can have a proper swim . The view from the sun loungers beside the pool are incredible and you see for hundreds of miles , beautiful. The pool is totally private use for the appointment, although next to the villa but total privacy is respected by the owner . There is one village about 2 km down the mountain which has an excellent village shop , fresh fruit and veg , super meats cheeses breads wine . If you want the ultimate peace and quite this is the place for you , total seclusion. The owner gives you a key to the front gate so you can come and go as you want. She also has the most magnificent Labrador dog who is super friendly! Wonderful holiday !!

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt hier. Das Haus, die Aussicht (gigantisch!) & vor allem der Pool (ca. 10 x 5m), den wir zur alleinnutzung hatten entspricht den Fotos. Die Küche war, mit allem was man so braucht, sehr gut ausgestattet. Für 2 Personen ist ausreichend Platz.Besonders schön war der Bereich vor dem Haus mit Tisch & Stühlen und ebenfalls einer tollen Aussicht. In der Nähe befindet sich kleines Dorf mit Lebensmittelladrn & Bar. 10 km entfernt befindet sich ein kleines Städtchen, wo man hervorragend essen kann. Loretana ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin. Sie respektiert die Privatsphäre, war aber trotzdem immer erreichbar. Wir können diese Unterkunft vollends empfehlen & würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Sehr nette Gastgeberin. Ein voller Obstkorb stand zum Empfang im Kühlschrank. Super schöne Aussicht , bei klarem Wetter Sicht bis nach Rom. Lore hat dann auch noch Olivenöl und Honig organisiert. Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage, auch am schönen großen Pool, den wir alleine nutzen konnten. Jederzeit wieder. Claudia&Thomas

Aangenaam verblijf in een fijne omgeving. Goed uitvalsbasis voor bezoek aan Rome. Loretana is een zeer aangename en bereidwillige gastvrouw. Communicatie met haar verliep perfect. Communicatie met VRBO was minder positief. Verblijf zeker aan te raden voor 2 personen.

Beautiful, peaceful location

The property was perfect for us and Lore couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. The pool, gardens and views were outstanding. We visited lots of little hilltop villages and got the train to Rome for a day trip which was so easy. A lovely holiday made so special by Lore and her family.
