"The hotel is right on the shore of the lake. If you walk up the main road from the hotel, you will find some excellent restaurants and wine cellars. A short walk away there are opportunities to rent windsurfing equipment. There were plenty of staff who spoke English."

"Hotel Faro was a very good experience for us. Located close to the lake it was in a good setting. The hotel is closely & well managed by the owners, a couple, which he woman is always on site. They also own and manage the commercial businesses; restaurant, bar, and shop, on the first floor. Most pleasant and friendly. A very good breakfast came with the room. We would certainly stay there again."

"Check-in beginning at 15:00 was strictly adhered to. Was a very pleasant place to stay, especially if you play tennis as it had indoor/outdoor courts. The rooms were large and the A/C worked great, which was really appreciated since it was very hot during the 1st two weeks of September! The breakfast was tasty with a good assortment that did not vary much during our 10 night stay. Ate in the restaurant once and was very good. There is a small bar area, but was well appointed.
