Michael was fantastic. He was quick to respond with questions and very helpful with the whole check in process. The house was comfortable, clean and served our purpose. It was nice to have the essentials provided for us.

Micheal and Ashleigh provided a excellent stay and were quick to respond to any questions or needs we had. The house perfectly suited our needs. And we all had a amazing time with use of the lakes facilities. Throughly recommend.

A pleasant little cabin by the lake

My wife, daughter and her husband and 2 kids stayed here for an extended Mother's Day weekend. The cabin was perfect size and well maintained for a rental property. The nearby lake, playground and community lodge were all great, well maintained, and everyone was very friendly. The only issues were with the roads in the area - many were not in the best shape, and having to drive out of the gate and back in to drop off trash. Neither is the fault of the renter. Communication was great, and all instructions were clear and easy to follow. I would definintely stay here again.

Very family friendly

This place was awesome. Michael and Ashleigh were great hosts. The community was very family friendly - kids loved the playgrounds (yes there were several around the community), and it was too cold for swimming, but the beach was still nice to fish from, and sports courts were great!. The house itself was clean and well-kept. We would definitely stay again.

Nice short stay

Check in process was very fast and smooth. Friendly community. We didn't visit any beach locations, but drove by them. We enjoyed the house and look forward to coming back again.

Relaxing getaway

Warm, cozy cabin with beautiful views of the lake and forests. My girlfriend and I stayed here for four nights and it was the perfect chance to relax and unwind. Plenty to do in the community itself, and in the nearby area as well, but my girlfriend said her favorite moment was when this family of deer came by to graze along the front yard while we sat on the deck and watched. Thanks again to Ashleigh and Michael for providing such a comfortable place for us to stay.

Great Autumn Leafing Trip

Michael and Ashley's lakehouse perfectly captures the essence of fall, with its golden-hued leaves reflecting on the calm lake waters. Waking up to misty mornings, sipping hot cocoa on the deck, and witnessing the most spectacular sunsets has been a dream. The cozy interiors complement the season, making it the ultimate fall getaway. Truly a slice of paradise!

1st time at Arrowhead Lake

It was very relaxing, a lot of wildlife! The lake beaches are nice, the house is centrally located. The pools are very nice with lifeguards on duty. The only thing we wish we knew prior was that you are not allowed to wear goggles that cover your nose in the pool. We were not able to find nose clips so our little one was not able to swim.

Nice Chalet Style Lodge

I was worried by a previous review I read, but honestly we had a great time. The house is in a gated community, and it has a little bit of a lake view. Nice wood two story living room and comfy beds all around. It was clean, and everything worked fine. The hosts were responsive when we had an issue - we couldn't figure out where to take the garbage, and they responded quickly and told us where to go. We would definitely stay again. Community gate fees are not bad in the off-season it seems, and the lodge and island were great to explore. We will be back.

A CUTE DISAPPOINTMENT

Where to start, First off and we knew it going in but the added fees we had to pay were a joke too me. The house itself was a huge disappointment, The furniture was worn out, couch was ok kitchen table was stained coffee table was almost on 3 legs bar stools should have had a sign that said use at own risk. The place had plenty of pots and pansTHE BEDSBeds are in serious need of new mattresses the linens were however soft and comfortable.

Perfect for Family’s

Perfect chalet for a larger crew! We had 2 toddlers here as well, the game room with childrens toys was the perfect added touch to keep them busy while at the house. The place was pet friendly which we intended on bringing our dogs, but unfortunately a personal situation came up and we didnt end up having any pets with us. The place did not have that “dog” smell you sometimes find in pet friendly houses, so it is clearly cleaned well. We also got to see a mama bear and her 3 cubs which was awesome! Owners of the home were super prompt with all my questions prior to our stay and even checked in with us during. Would love to stay here again!

Wonderful vacation, charming chalet

The home was just right to accommodate myself and hubby and our 4 children ages 10-19 and our 2 dogs. The fully fenced front porch was a plus with the dogs. You can’t take your dogs to any of the beaches or public areas but we did find a nice hiking spot (local advice) through connecting state game lands and the dogs swam in Brady Lake. We used the game room as extra sleeping area for our 10 year old and brought a blow up so it worked out well for everyone to have their own space. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need (pots pans dishes and utensils, crockpots, coffeemakers, etc). It was nice not to have to bring bathing towels and sheets. Slept amazingly in the master bedroom! We used our streaming services to watch movies together in the living room to wind down at night (after s’mores by the fire). Bring your own beach towels and beach chairs (we forgot our beach chairs which is handy for lounging by beaches and pools). We took advantage of all of the community amenities and were given a bracelet upon check-in (which you do pay for these amenities, but that is mentioned prior to booking so it was not a surprise). Two of the beaches are within walking distance and the island pool area is a quick walk. We had no issues or need to contact owners but they were kind enough to check in with us during our stay. There are kayaks and paddle boards for rent ($20 for 2 hours) and small row boats. The neighborhood is family-friendly. Would gladly return!

Beautiful Lake Area + Vintage Lake House!

The hosts were really great! 11/10 Very communicative and responsive to any questions you have, and work to resolve any issues that come up! The Location: Pros -The area + lake is really peaceful and beautiful -The community is well-secured and good safety in place -Nearby stores, gas stations, and good hikes! Cons -The community is very strict on rules. I was surprised by the number of restrictions + policies for the community area. It put a little bit of a damper on the time with my team. Check-in -The Hosts were communicative and worked to be detailed about it! -The process to check-in was a little confusing even with the directions communicated and took some time to check-in. Cost -The additional costs for using the amenities + registering the cars were more than I was expecting. The hosts do mention the additional costs and give what factors into it, and it was still more than what I was calculating as the factors were a little confusing. -It would be nice to have an option not to have to use the amenities in the community as my group wasn't planning on using them / to save on the cost. Property itself -Rustic charm to it! -Needed to be a tad bit cleaner -One of the beds was broken and slanted at the bottom of it -The cleaning fee is a lot for a two-night stay Overall - 8/10 -Great hosts!!!! -Strict HOA + not super "renter" friendly -Location is great!!! -Cabin could be a tad renovated + updated for more comfortable experience. -More expensive than was hoping

Great location

The house was cozy and cute, with spacious rooms. Nice deck, and table, although the outside chairs need replacing in my opinion. Enjoyed the big yard and firepit in back. The location is excellent and perfect for families.

Arrowhead lake is a very fun short vacation, great pools and beaches and amenities. Lots of fun things to do with kids nearby. The home we stayed in was horrible, it has been neglected and was very dirty. We will never stay there again and never rent any property from those owners again.
