"Terrible! I never received access information to the home. I messaged the host a few hours before check in asking how we get in to the home. No reply for 2 hours, so I messaged again. Still no reply. We arrive 1.5 hours after the allowed check in time. Still no access code to the home. Upon arrival, a patio door on the basement floor is open with all of the lights on. We enter and an alarm is going off. There are open drinks and food on the floor. We walk around to the front door which is locked. At this point I call the host to ask how we get into the home. He becomes defensive and says he emailed me. I told him I never received an email. He just keeps telling me to check my inbox which again there is no response. At the same time, my husband finds the side door with the lock box to be unlocked. The host at this point gave me the lock box code. The home is dirty with all of the windows unlocked and some windows open. We search the home to ensure there is no one here as we don't feel safe with the lack of security. We can't even close the patio door in the basement as it does not latch. There is ongoing work in the basement with exposed live wires and debris everywhere. In the rest of the home, multiple things are broken. A bed frame, toilet paper holders falling off walls or completely missing, kitchen faucet handle missing, cabinet doors broken, holes in ceilings and walls, cockroaches and ants, etc. The number of beds advertised is also incorrect. Do not stay here!!"
