Excellent location, you can have part of park to yourself after park closures and tourist crowds have left. Both breakfast and dinner are wonderful, we stay overnight for lovely Plitvice National Park, very relaxing and rewarding.

You come here to see the natural beauty of the waterfalls. Enjoy it! The staff and service is amazing. Good dinner is a 5 minute away at the next hotel. Good food and service there as well.

This is the place to stay if you visit Plitvice Lakes National Park! I took a Bus from Zadar and the Bus Stop was right above Hotel Plitvice;such a perfect Location! The customer service provided by Lorena was SUPERB! She made sure that my experience in Plitvice was extraordinary AND she assisted me with my travel plans to my next destination! Lorena offered excellent suggestions for dining as well! I even got to go back into the Park the next day because I was staying at Hotel Plitvice; it was so convenient!

A spectacular park, but not so spectacular hotel

Disappointing. It was supposed to be a lakeside hotel, but there is no view at all as the room is blocked by a tree and beside an abandoned building. Very aged hotel. Also inconsistent service at front desk - first night was a seamingly uninterested guy, but our following nights were more pleasant with a very friendly and helpful lady (i think Marja was her name, but apologies if i have spelt her name wrongly). Pillow was way to soft and uneven; which does not provide any support to the head or neck for a proper rest. Not much options for food for breakfast, and quality of food could be improved too. The only saving grace was the proximity to the national park.

As l read previous reviews l felt l did not stay at the same hotel. On the positive side it was very close proximity to the park entrance and the staff were somewhat helpful. On the negative side the hotel was very dated which looked and felt like it has had no upgrades since the 70’s. The room had a strange smell, stains on the carpet, no air conditioning, an awkward window to leave open and the breakfast was average. For the price paid l would have expected much better.

Staff were really helpful with the explanation of the area, boat trips in the lake area. I arrived by public transport and they were feally helpful about possible options to help to my next destination. They mentioned that the hotel had only been very recently reopened and all the staff were delighted to return to their roles and were consequently really positive and helpful.

We booked a standard room which was far to small for two people, we upgraded to the Junior suite. Breakfast was good and we ate dinner at the restaurant next door. i think you are paying for the accommodation as it’s in the National park and it’s more about the Lake experience

The staff was outstanding, very helpful. The property is located very close to the park. The only complaint we and other guests had was that their is no elevator and many , many stairs. Definitely not ADA compliant.

Location is ok, near entrance 2, good if you are not driving. But very limited hotel facilities no gym no restaruant (only serves breakfast), no bottled water nor kettle was provided in room (I went during raining days prefer not to drink from tap). Need to buy bottle waters from bar Id recommend the other newer hotels within walking distance from this one. I had a lovely dinner there.
