Spacious, clean, welcoming house

This was a nice stay, only about 12min away from Elk Mt Ski Resort. Well stocked amenities, great living space with games and a fireplace etc. We enjoyed ourselves and would recommend!

Perfect location for a quick trip to Elk Mountain for 2 families with kids. Conveniently located and true to the pictures/description in the listing. Everything we needed was included. We would stay again.

The house is very cozy. Perfect for a family getaway. It’s fully equipped with everything and clean. The host is friendly and communicative! Would recommend it for friends and family.

Perfect house and plenty of space

The house was great for our group. Plenty of bedrooms and beds. The room with the fire place is great and it's where we spent most of our time when we were at the house. We were in the area to ski/snowboard at Elk mountain, which was a quick 10 minute drive.

So Relaxing

The house was clean and tidy - the yard immaculate. We were able to find everything we needed in the kitchen. The whole house is so well organized. There were games for the kids to play and I appreciated that the jigsaw puzzle had all of its pieces. The beanbag chairs were a huge hit with the kids. It was a great place for our three generations to gather.

Great house in a great location for Elk Mountain.

Our group of seven adults enjoyed the house, the location to Elk Mountain, and the turkeys that showed up daily. Plenty of firewood for the great room where we spent most of our time. The driveway was plowed quickly after an overnight snow. Great communication with owner. The one thing we didn’t know was you have to go through one of the bedrooms to get to another bedroom. Overall we are already discussing renting it again for our family trip next year. Super convenient to Elk. Highly recommend.

Family Wedding weekend

The house was very clean and had everything we possibly could need for a weekend stay. The shower water was either scolding hot or ice cold. It fluctuated while you were in the shower. Overall out stay was wonderful, the communication with the owner was not punctual at all. We would stay again even despite the little things.

Great ski trip!

This house is perfect for a group ski trip. It's a short, easy drive to town or Elk Mountain, and there's plenty of space for everyone to relax and play board games around the fire. We really enjoyed our time here, can't wait to do it again next year!

Farmhouse near Elk Mountain

Really comfortable house for our extended family. The fireplace room was an amazingly comfortable place to hang out on an unexpectedly cold, rainy Memeorial Day weekend. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're in the area.

The house had plenty of space, great location for skiing at Elk Mountain and George was extremely responsive (although house was in great shape so only needed to touch base quickly ahead of check-in)

Perfect Birthday Weekend Getaway!

The house is gorgeous, warm and welcoming! Plenty of space, but we spent most of our time in the fireplace room all cozy and comfortable watching the snow fall. It was fantastic! We brought our dogs and they enjoyed the wide open spaces to run and play in the snow. It was a wonderful stay and we hated to pack up and leave! Definitely will stay here again!

Great location, comfortable

Nice property within 10 minutes or so of Elk; good setup for skiiers. Fireplace was delightful and the room with the fireplace is spacious and enjoyable. Kitchen well-stocked with kitchen tools. Master bedroom has a king bed plus an additional big single bed, and one of the bunk rooms is off of that master bedroom. Plenty of space for people to spread out and relax.
