"Check in was good. Unfortunately a strong smell of what seemed like sewage in the entrance. There had been heavy rain recently so maybe why? We booked a Junior Suite which was two huge rooms. Front room was a little bare but had a big sofa bed and a small TV. Bedroom felt warmer and had a nice four poster bed and another TV. Bathroom excellent with a nice shower and jetted bathtub. Bathrobes and towels were of a good quality. We booked half board which is worth it. Excellent dinner with huge portions that were nicely presented and great quality. Patience is needed as our dinner started at 8.30pm and ended at 10.55pm. Pricing for wine and drinks was very good with excellent wine. We did not use the pool. Views are amazing even on a rainy day. The area of Lorca below is quite modern and built up. I had thought it was in more of a rural area. Parking is free and during the hot summer months has shaded screens. Overall would be happy to stay here again"

"Is this really a 4* hotel? Our room was really run down, the furniture was dated and badly worn. Pretty dreadful. The redeeming features being location and indoor pool. We didn't have breakfast as at £25 a night that is a absolute rip off. Instead we ate at a beach side cafe for less than 10€."

"Fabulous villa, well maintained it has everything you would want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We had great communication with the hosts and it was great that we could bring our dog with us. Ben and Giles have thought of everything. The grounds and plants are lovely to walk through then opens up to a lovely pool area with a 10 metre pool. Lots of different table and relaxing areas. Inside the bedroom are a nice size. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped and the tv area is lovely to relax in. Thank you we aim to come back soon. "
