"We had been a bit worried about this stay because of some negative reviews online. But it turned out that we were pleased with the spacious accommodation and also pleased with the quality of food at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Not gourmet food, certainly, but absolutely fine and surely better than average.
Our only complaint was that our room had the highest bed we have ever experienced. It took almost a vault to land there. Two little footstools to aid in entrance & exit from such a high bed seem like a little worthy investment for future guests."
"Viento del Rio is the most amazing VRBO we have ever stayed in - it is now our gold standard. The casita, property and views are spectacular - it will be hard for anything to top it. Tami and Jeff are the most gracious and helpful hosts and have decorated the place beautifully, it felt like home. We didn’t want to leave. We’ll be dreaming of Abiquiu and Viento del Rio for the rest of our lives!"

"We have often traveled through this area but wanted to stay and explore for a few days. We couldn't have chosen a better location! The casita was an enchanting historical building set in a breathtaking area. Floyd was so welcoming and gave us great advice of things to do and places to see in the area. Definitely the place to stay if you want to explore the beauty of northern New Mexico."
Spectacular Ranch Overlooking the Chama River at the Heart of Abiquiu

"Lovely home in a beautiful place. We enjoyed the screened porch and the bedrooms with their own bathrooms were perfect for our 3 adult children and their partners. It was a great "home base" for visiting our friends in Abiquiu and at Ghost Ranch, shopping in Santa Fe, and hiking at Bandelier and in the Carson National Forest. We also enjoyed some quiet days doing art projects and birding around the house. A highlight was heading out to the road late one night to photograph the incredible night sky and catch a glimpse of the northern lights.
Brooks was kind and thorough in all communications and this home will be my first choice should we plan another family trip to Abiquiu. "
