We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The location was beautiful and peaceful, and we especially enjoyed the view. Everything made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is unique, has a great location and spectacular views from some of the rooms. However, do not expect any so called “luxurious”. There are no tissues, hairdryer, lotion, conditioner or refrigerator. No air conditioner but we did not need it. Plenty of fresh air from the ocean. Hotel restaurant has decent food and drinks. Staff were pretty helpful. For the price it was Ok to stay here for one night. Overall, the hotel could use some upgrades.

I have to say that when I arrived at the Hotel Poco Cielo, the manager, Mr. M., said he did not have my reservation. He said the hotel was fully booked, but he managed to find me a room despite the confusion. He was very kind. The restaurant staff were also nice.However, when I woke up in the middle of the night, the bathroom was full of ants. I sprayed them with alcohol. By morning, I noticed the ants were all over the room. The next day, I tried to speak with Mr. M. but he was not available, so I decided to leave. It was a very stressful night fighting off those ants. Also, parking was difficult to find upon my arrival.

First off if you are looking for a hotel with access to the beach you found it! This hotel’s view are so worth the stay here. We stayed at the blue lagoon and had a beautiful view! The staff is so helpful and attentive it is hard to find a place that offers that at home vibe which this place does. There is no A/C but with the balacony door open and hearing the waves so close it does not even matter. This is a hidden gem for sure! The beach you stay it is kinda private and you get to walk down some strairs straight to the beach! 5 stars for the location and stay here.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our 3 night stay at Poco Cielo. We loved our room.....the Polynesian Room. The room was very large and uniquely decorated. We loved the private balcony with the beautiful ocean view. We loved, every evening, sitting on the balcony and watching sunset over the ocean. We were able to see dolphins jumping in the water every late afternoon from our balcony. Norman at the restaurant and his father Oscar were so friendly to us and very professional. The reception people were also very nice and helpful. The restaurant food was delicious. We will definitely stay at Poco Cielo again. We are so glad we discovered this beautiful hotel and location.

The hotel has a great view of the beach, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the negatives ultimately outweighed the positives. The property appears to have been neglected and is in significant need of maintenance and repairs. There were piles of debris throughout the hotel, which were not only unsightly but also raised safety concerns. Several areas, including the walkways to the rooms, were extremely dark at night with little to no lighting. The alternative route involved a rusty, unstable-looking staircase that we were genuinely concerned could collapse. The stairways throughout the property also appeared poorly maintained and potentially hazardous. Our room was not adequately equipped for four guests. We were provided with only two towels and two pillows. The only blanket available was visibly dirty and had crusted stains on it. There were also significant safety concerns with our balcony, which could not be properly latched. This was particularly concerning because the balcony could be easily accessed from an adjacent stairway and neighboring balconies.The water pressure in the bathroom was extremely poor, to the point that taking a shower was impossible. It was little more than a trickle. This property has a beautiful location and some positive features, and I can imagine it may have been a wonderful place in its prime. However, the current condition of the facilities and the number of maintenance and safety issues made our stay disappointing.
