"The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The food at the buffet was good and had a decent variety each day. The biggest downside is that they did not replenish the buffet as much as needed. At dinner, the main protein was out and my husband asked how long it would be to bring more. The woman behind the counter seemed agitated and told him 5 minutes. He decided to wait and a few minutes later another person asked how long and the woman told them 10 minutes. My husband ended up getting something else, but it just seems the buffet was not being managed well that night. The rest of our trip it was fine and the specialty restaurants are even better! The beach is tranquil with soft sand and gentle waves. The spa was incredibly relaxing and I had a fantastic massage followed by the dry and wet saunas. We took a taxi to Tamarindo (30 minutes) so my husband could surf. It is a cute town and very safe. Definitely recommend checking it out. Overall we were very impressed with the resort and would definitely return. "

"Loved the staff. The room was comfortable. The views from the resort are some of the most beautiful views we’ve seen in our lives. We loved enjoying the awesome and friendly wildlife. The attention to detail was another level. To finish off our trip we enjoyed a super relaxing spa day. Will definitely come back again. Costa Rica is truly PURA VIDA!!!"

"We had the best time here. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the shows, food, and the amenities. This was such a gorgeous location and I can honestly say we never ran out of things to do. Everyday was so much fun and such a unique experience. "I enjoyed my stay here. As much as I would love to say it was awful and keep this place to myself I can’t. It was great. It’s difficult to find something on this beach that is both affordable and nice. This meets both. I am building a place near by and until it’s completed this will definitely be my go to place. The host is a very friendly Ticco. It’s very new. Nothing but good things to say. "

"Beautiful property right on Playa Hermosa. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Our room was clean, spacious and a lovely view of the greenery surrounding the hotel and pool. There was some construction noise but we were there during the off season so not surprising. The hot tub was cool one evening but much warmer another. The area felt safe and calm. Expedia offered a 20% discount on a tour but the hotel only offered it for kayak/paddleboard rentals, a bit disappointing but the stay was otherwise fantastic. I would definitely return!"
