"Hotel was good the food was not "

"Nice place ! A little outdated but they are renovating soon! Staff was excellent!! The food was ok! ."

"The overall stay had several positive aspects, including an amazing view, excellent shuttle service, and enjoyable breakfast amenities. The staff we interacted with were courteous and helpful, which we greatly appreciated. Room cleanliness and maintenance were below expectations. The remote and light switches were visibly dirty, the floor had leftover food crumbs, and no facial tissue box was provided. Only one coffee cup was available for a two-guest room, and it was wet and stained. There were also issues reaching room service- non functional number. We were asked to try at 11AM and then again asked for 2PM. Front desk could not assist."

"Amazing location & amazing staff! The food however in the main restaurant was not good. Very tasteless and you could tell they are not using quality ingredients. I really hope they upgrade their food! Would make for a much better experience! "

"The Diriá is fabulous! I’ve seen there twice over the last year and I can tell you firsthand. It is the best hotel in town. Everything is walkable but really you don’t even need to go outside the resort they have everything. The location is perfect. The staff is amazing. The buffet is the best in town. I cannot say enough good things about the Diria."

"El personal muy amable, las políticas del hotel muy malas llegué 30 minutos antes del check in y me dijeron que si quería entrar antes de las 3 (30 minutos faltaban) debía pagar $15 por persona. Después de mí llegaron 2 parejas de extranjeros y si pudieron entrar y de gratis. Le pregunté a la Srta y me dijo que los extra y si pueden entrar antes y de gratis, los nacionales no."

"The hotel was fantastic! All the staff were so friendly and helpful, we loved Dejan and his hospitality. The breakfast was great, nice to pick each day and everything was fresh and delicious. The banana bread and lemon loaf were so tasty! Everything was clean and the hotel was located at the best part of the beach. A little bit of a walk to get to town but the trade is that it’s much quieter which was nice. We’d definitely stay again, thanks to all the staff at the Coast Hotel for giving us a proper “home” away from home! Pura Vida!!!"

"The W was absolutely just pure relaxation in the perfect environment. Costa Rica is not a one and done trip you have to go multiple times to experience all it has to offer. But this is the perfect location on Playa Conchal. Staff was veryy kind , food was good, loved our room the view was amazing and the shower indoor/outdoor I loved."
