The hotel and related service was good although the absence of out of hours help and restaurants/catering finishing at 4.30pm was a minor stress. The big "plus" for us was the nearby beach (30 minute walk) and associated eateries. Añoreta prom was a worthy visit"

"Although it’s a beautifully renovated building in the residential part of the old town of Velez-Málaga, the photos are somewhat misleading. Pool is a jacuzzi that is no longer functioning. Ground floor rooms are dark, with no views and portable air conditioning units. There was no wifi in our room—only in the common areas. Parking can be difficult."

It was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed, and very close to the shops. There is a busy road out the front so maybe a back room will be quieter. All in all we would stay there again. "
