"So we had tried to contact this location without much luck to confirm ocean view and accessible Room. My Mom is very immobile. I had finally gotten through when I mentioned I wanted to add Star Class and was assured the request had been made only to arrive and find out that there were no such ocean view rooms that were accessible. I think they saw our predicament and moved quickly to help us out. Noelia, a manager came to speak to us, Justin was right there to take us to our rooms. Mom’s room ended up an accessible room but no ocean view. To compensate us on price difference. They provided us with cabanas for two days and we had superb service from all staff. "Rebecca and her team were amazing in preparing for our stay providing pre stocking, golf cart arrangements and even Valentine’s Day flower arrangements. The home was better than the pictures and we absolutely loved the breathtaking views from every corner of the house. The housekeeping team were also amazing making sure the house was spotless and ready to be enjoyed every day. We highly recommend the home and we hope to return again in the future. "

"We had a wonderful family stay here on Peninsula Papagayo. Ana and the concierge team were great to work with. The property was clean, spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately the golf cart didn’t work, but it sounds like they’ve since found the problem and are addressing it for the next renters. We had great dinners at the Four Seasons, Ritz and Andaz. If you want to cook or grill at home, the kitchen is fully stocked. The Prieta beach club was lovely… great service, uncrowded and perfect for kids and adults alike. We spent half a day at the new community park and the kids loved the big water slides and climbing wall. We were impressed by the hardworking groundskeeper crews and appreciated the extra level of security the peninsula had. All in all, it was a great stay and we’d definitely rent again! "

"It’s really hard to put into words just how spectacular our stay at Villa Mariposa was. Everything about the experience didn’t simply exceed our expectations; it absolutely blew them away. Chad, our host, was in constant contact and incredibly helpful. The staff on the ground is even more so. By way of example, we ran out of propane at the grill one night around 7:30pm. After a quick call the the local staff a new tank was delivered and installed in about 15 minutes.The property is “blow-your-mind” incredible. The images in the listing do not do it justice. This is the sort of place from which legends are created, and songs or poems are written. The Peninsula Papagayo area was also fantastic. The golf course was one of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen. The beach club and restaurants were relaxed and delicious. If you have kids, wait until they see the brand-new play park. Just amazing.Overall, on a scale of 1 to 10. This rental experience rolls in at 52.We will be back!"
