Fife Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"We had a one night stay to attend a function. The food and service were excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. The setting is lovely. The room was small but well equipped apart from an iron/board but that’s a minor issue. Would definitely book again."

Cullen Bay Hotel

8/10 Good

"Fantastic stay in a gorgeous location. Stunning sea view from our hotel room as well as the breakfast room and restaurant . Easy access onto a coastal path, with walking routes into the town centre and to Portknockie. Beautiful beach to walk along. Friendly and attentive staff. Comfortable bed. Clean room. Large wardrobe. Tea, coffee and biscuits in room. GHD hairdryer supplied. Large walk in shower. Breakfast cooked to order and served to your table, as well as tea/coffee and toast. Delicious dinners. Nice cosy bar area as well as an additional sitting room. Spacious free car park on site. Some areas of the hotel and room were a bit tired and dated but it is a large old hotel that would require a lot of maintenance. Would have liked the bathroom window to open a little, to get rid of the steam after showering. The sausages served at breakfast had small bones and gristle but the rest of the breakfast was lovely and everything was cooked to perfection. We would definitely return to this hotel due to its amazing location and friendly staff."

"The picture don’t do this place justice. The cottage was so cozy and the sea views were amazing. Definitely a place I would come back to. The food at the hotel just down the street was amazing as well."

Portsoy Sail Loft

10/10 Excellent

"Phenomenal stay at the Sail Loft. I stayed a few nights after the Kadampa meditation retreat and absolutely loved my stay. The location is excellent, amazing walking opportunities and the beach is a 30 second walk from the front door! You can get whatever you need from the coop in town. The place is well heated and all cooking and cleaning amenities are provided. Place was spotless on entry and had everything I needed. Amazing price too 10/10 & I’ll be back soon"
