Sina Villa Matilde
2/5 Poor
"Pros. Pool. Staff.
Very uncomfortable beds and pillows are like sleeping on a rock very little sleep even though it’s quiet.
Middle of nowhere . Train station is a good 25 mini walk to get to Turin in an hour walking through a not so great town. We paid for a driver to pick us up which was €25 euros each way so it’s not exactly cheap but there are no taxis.
Food at the restaurant is expensive for what it is and fussy for no apparent reason. There is a restaurant around 5 mins walk which is ok but again fussy food. 25 minute walk to any other restaurant.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for tourists tbh. It’s ok if you have family in the area you’re visiting but not really anything else.
Breakfast is like a b&b and runs out quickly without being restocked. Superior rooms are far from superior. I read a review to not look too close and I suggest you don’t. Lots of cobwebs it’s old so I get it but they can make it more comfortable if they tried. If you like the old rustic Italian town with not much here then go for it. Not for me couldn’t wait to leave it which is really sad when on holiday. Oh and be careful of bugs they bite like hell. "
