"This is a wonderful cabin. Very clean and cozy with a beautiful fireplace. Easy access to Shenandoah National Park. The cabin is on a peaceful, quiet street. Very scenic with a nice view of the sunrise just a quick walk up the street. Don and Lina were great hosts and did a great job of communicating and keeping us informed from check-in to check-out. We didn't have any issues during our stay.Highly recommended! We will come back again for sure!"

"It was ok for the price "

"The property looks pretty new/renovated and at first it looked great, but we encountered some things that did not make me happy. First the listing says 2 bathrooms but they only have one. The place did not seemed clean like I expected , looked like someone had just left and they only had time to clean the bathroom and changed the bed sheets. The sink was kinda gross I had to sanitize(lucky me I brought some sanitizer wipes), the coffee maker have been used and not cleaned (the filter was still there), and dog hair all over the place (I know it's a pet friendly place but I think you should pay attention more when cleaning for next guest). Also we had no instructions or wifi password. The host was faster on answering a few questions I had but I felt they did not put any effort and trying to be polite. The most disappointing for me was the Hot tub (the only reason we ended up choosing this place) was disgusting, we did not even go in. It had some kind of fungus hanging around and when I questioned the host if it had been cleaned they said yes, but form the picture I sent them you could see that it was not clean. Anyways if the host makes and effort to pay attention to those details I would recommend the place very much. It's very peaceful and around by woods (a little hard to get there but it's the mountain so it's expected) and we had a great time by the fire pit. "

"Great setup on the river. Close to hiking and other amenities, like Masanutten water park. For us, the setup of the property was even better in person. Kids loved the loft. We used the hot tub every night along with the fire pit. Lots of wood split and ready. Kayaking was a blast and really beautiful views no matter what direction you look. You can hear the river flowing from the house with the windows open. Even our dog had a blast! Everything was clean and organized. Highly recommend. "

"We throughly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Hill.Our stay was during the winter. We loved the fireplace for evening fires. It was so cozy and comfortable. The outdoor space, the screened porch as well as the open porch and fire pit area, would make for a wonderful summer getaway.The host has the guest first and foremost in mind, paying close attention to all your needs. The cottage was clean and ready for guests. We highly recommend a stay at sunset Hill."

"We had such a great time. It was such a cute little place and pictures on VRBO didn’t even do close to justice. It was so perfect for just the two of us and it was so cozy. We did have a little bit of issues with the water, but it was just due to a breaker flipping which maintenance did come in less than 10 minutes after messaging someone about it. We will definitely be back the details of this place are just impeccable and if you know anything about the Lord of the rings or The Hobbit, everything is spot on."
